The property was very impressive. The balcony offered great views. The hosts were very attentive and friendly. I would very much recommend staying here. Such lovely people.

No 1 reason is the hosts. It’s all been said by others but they really go out of their way. Maja is More like a favorite aunt/sister than a hostess. We got food poisoning and she and Tonici looked after us for a couple of days. WOnderful and interesting people. But the rooms are great too. Spacious, spotless with well equipped kitchens. Dubrovnik is tiring and its lovely to have a nice home to relax in, especially if you are there for 7 days as we were. The top rooms have views of the city walls, the bottom room a view of the sea but balcony has city views. The hosts made parking easy by reserving a spot and it proved safe and convenient to leave the car there the whole time at no extra cost. Location is peaceful and although the walk into town is only 15 mins, it is a little up hill. But plenty of taxis if you want. Little supermarket 5 mins walk away is convenient and if you cant be bothered to walk into town, Hotels Villa Dubrovnik & Argentina are close by with great views/ bars/ restuarants, albeit pricey.

Nothing to do with the property but neither Apple nor Google maps can guide you there. It sends you to a parallel street higher up the hill. So get directions from the hosts before you get there. It will lessen frustrations of dealing with a tough one way system. If you get it wrong, you have to go right round a big loop again.

The hosts were wonderful and very helpful, the apartment was impeccable and clean to the highest standard and the location was ideal for the local beaches and walks into Old Town

I have no faults at all

Villa is just great. We were staying on the top floor. Awesome terrace, rooms with a view. Owners are friendly and super helpful.

Amazing location, 5-10 minutes from two different beaches. Lovely patio with sunshine all day and felt very private. Good amnenites nearby. Close to the old town. The host, Maja was very hospitable and thoughtful. We really reccomend them as hosts.

The appartment is really nice and has everthing you need. Next to the appartment are two beaches (300m in every direction) and it takes 15-20 minutes to get to the old town by foot. Everything was great!

A wonderful holiday! Very nice place! Quiet, calm and very beautiful! The accommodation is very comfortable! A wonderful hostess, very friendly and sympathetic! This holiday will be remembered for a long time! I want to come back here again and again!

There is no such thing, everything was fine

My girls and I stayed at Villa Matilda for 9 days and absolutely loved it. Such a gem! And Maja and Tonci were the perfect hosts. Would recommend it to anyone!!!

Villa Matilda is in a beautiful peaceful area of Dubrovnik and after the hustle and bustle inside the City Walls it was a haven to sit and relax either on the balcony or terrace.

Hosts were amazingly helpful and friendly, up and above what you would normally expect.
