The location is the selling point for this place. It's almost right opposite the kitanomine lifts. The accommodation description is accurate and they don't mince words. The amenities are old and there aren't many inclusions, however we found it adequate for our purposes. The shared bathroom was always clean, the fridges provided were large enough to accommodate multiple meals and drinks and a small table was provided for eating in the room.

The bath water in the female bathroom was far too hot. One of the handrails going upstairs was wobbly. The futons were thin, so we had to double futon. We appreciated that 4 were provided instead of 2 to accommodate this.

The location was amazing. you can ski to within 40m of the front door. I didnt realize how close we were. We will definitely stay here again. always hot onsen like bath was very nice at the end of a day of skiing.

It is an older building, slightly run down. perfectly clean but fairly tired.

The price is cheap when compared with other hotels in Furano.

The hostel keeper is so cool. He does not speak during my check in. He only passed me the room key and walk away. The male bathroom is very dirty. The wall is full of black spots, and the window is so dusty. The water tap cannot be controlled and you can only get very hot water or cold water.

Location and reasonable price

Mattress and pillow are not comfortable. Noisy in the night time from the nearby rooms talking and walking.

Does not include breakfast but provides 2 x fridges for guest use and a microwave. Location is good. There are buses to take you to town in Furano for dinner and groceries if you dont have your own car to use. Also ample little yummy restaurants in Kitanomine area. Hosted by a lovely family.

Stairs are a little slippery and scary. But we are well aware of this issue so just take your time going up and down and watch your step and whatever you do dont try in socks :-)
