One of the best value family hotels you can possibly ask for. So good I’m looking at going back. Lovely refurbished room. Lovely resort, decent food and drink. And very clean. And to have a top quality water park included in the all inclusive it’s hard to beat!

A little more variation on the food, especially between the two restaurants, seems a little daft serving pretty much same food in both. And the main pool and bar are starting to show their age. Should have tea/coffee/iron facilities in room, without having to ask.

Exceptionally nice and hard-working staff. Room and facilities were extremely clean. Wide variety of food and activities.

The renovated family room that we got was fantastic! The people from the hotel were very nice and very kind! The Philomena’s bar and pool are a very nice spot that I we can highly recommend! ;-). The beach is on the other side of the street but it did not bother us at all.

A bit a pity that there are only 2 restaurants…

The food was good, the kids pool near Stella Village was handy, the animation was good, the kids liked the play ground as well. The water park was awesome and not far from Stella Villa.

Except for the toilet which was fine, the entire room was really old and poor. You can see the wear and tear in the furniture. The wall painting was very old. The room is in no way close to what you expect in a 4 star hotel.

Review! Stayed 11 nights early June. Stella village. We booked a standard room for 2 adults, 1 child (2 y/o). Heraklion Taxi Services - highly recommend. Listened to car seat request, water in car when we arrived and a fresh face wipe. Amazing when you’re hot from the flight 🤣. We arrived at the hotel and the reception staff were welcoming and smiling 🙂 (sorry, not good with names!). We soon realised our room was up ‘death trap’ of stairs, literally. I spoke to a girl at reception (super friendly) and asked if it was possible to have a ground floor (as I was worried my daughter would have slipped down them). She said to come back the following morning (when the manager was there), as she could see what bookings there were to check if we can be moved. She very kindly and unexpectedly moved us into a newly refurbished family ground floor room 🥹🥹🥹. This already made our holiday! Food - we much preferred the Mediterra restaurant and bar (over the main buffet). It’s an open restaurant so way less chaotic, hot, and loud. We ate there every breakfast and lunch pretty much, and had dinner there 3 times (allowed during our period of stay), and in the main buffet for the remaining. All the restaurant and bar staff are very friendly, always greeting us and genuinely nice. Water park - this made our holiday. I would 100% recommend booking this hotel purely for this 🤣. Slides for all ages! Lifeguards very welcoming, always saying hi. Manager (I think her name is Efe?), is very professional and always saw her walking around checking things, etc. (I went with a friend with a milk allergy allergy. After just asking if they do sorbet as an alternative, they said they didn’t but then made a special dessert every day for my friend!) Pools - amazing as they are for a 2 y/o! Little pool with little slides to ease them in until the water park! Park - amazing! Slides are hot in peak times, beware! Perfect distraction before dinner, etc. Kids disco - my ears 😵‍💫😵‍💫.

It was our second time at Stella village, and it was perfect both at 2019 and 2023, definitely recommend this hotel for family with kids, big aquapark included in price, sea is really 1 step from a hotel, service was perfect

The room is simple, but the garden looks so nice and gives you instant holidays mood. Quiet, nice kid’s animation, a big choice of water park, tasty food

Bungalow type living conditions (feeling like in seperate home not common big hotel), tasty food, good cocktails, clean and nice swimming pools for all age groups, interesting evening shows. Near car rent, excursion organizers what gives opportunity to travel Crete.

Little bit too cold water in swimming pools, only one playground which is crowded in case of colder weather

The pool bar’s bartenders were super friendly even remembered my usual and offered :)) Felt so good about remembered and cared.

The bathroom’s floor was somehow always wet, some kind of water or something (so gross) was leaking and we mentioned about it to the hotel but no one showed ever.

They are perfect place for holiday. Food it so nice every meal and staff very good. I told them when I checkin about I reservation other hotel and see this hotel it look nice and I can reserve only 1 night. At last I just find it far away from my airport in ticket and start asking to moving day to stay in there. reseption give some special gift for me too. It make more happy and want to review this hotel it perfect.

The location of the hotel is really good and staff are very accommodating and welcoming. We really appreciate that our room was upgraded for free and we received a bottle of wine and fruits on my husbands birthday which was really thoughtful

The food in the restaurants needs a little bit of improvement as most of the dish are blunt.

Rooms - a bit outdated and not fancy, basic but comfortable beds, all in all it was good Location - located near a beach, and 20 mins from Heraklion city, but nothing much to do around other than that Staff - amazing, very helpful and kind, perfect Food - food was good, but repetitive at times. we needed a gluten free meal and here i want to say huge thanks to the staff which catered to all our needs, and specially prepared for us meals which are gluten free Water park - amazing!! a lot of slides and great things to do also with small children. food there at lunch is also great and different from the main restaurants, there its' smore of a snack bar which has hot dogs, burgers, chicken nuggets and fries, etc. really cool All in all a very good experience
