The students working there were nice. The room was comfortable with blackout blinds. It was quiet and relaxing.

Nobody lived at the B&B and this was a problem when the fire alarm went off during the night and took some time to rectify. No breakfast available despite mention on website. Mould on blind in bathroom and shower needs to be grouted.

We had the place virtually to ourselves, so very quiet in the building and our room backed to a pasture with 2 handsome sheep grazing contentedly. We could walk to a sweet cafe for excellent coffee and baked goods and enjoyed the ambience and setting of The South Pole Inn commemorating local adventurer Tom Crean's participation in the Shackleton Expedition. Annascaul is a lovely hamlet--neat and quiet. Enjoyed our stay as we traveled the backroads of Ireland! (As an aside, the thatched roof lodge also hosts Paddywagon Tours, so our experience of having the place to ourselves was probably unique0

Don't recall if we had coffee service in our room. We did not have breakfast avaialble to us at this visit, so coffee service in the room would be appreciated. B ut, as mentioned, a great coffee shop is a short walk.

Inspiration Lodge is a lovely comfortable place to stay in Anascaul. It's easy to find, Alan was very helpful and cooked a great breakfast for us too. Thanks for having us!

The place is spotless and comfortable, it has an ideal location in the center of the village. Alan is the perfect host and very informative.

I didnt take breakfast. It was expensive for the lack of choice on offer. I felt that the entire property needed a deep clean. Floors were grubby, radiators were stained and the grout round the tiles in the wet room was mouldy. There was no chair and no dressing table. I had asked for a quiet room but was given one facing a busy main road. I didn't sleep after 6am. The staff are charming and gracious.

The room and areas within the bed and breakfast were spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and welcoming. It was great value for money.

Our two hosts were great and very friendly. Value for money was fantastic and breakfast (which was delicious) was included in the price. On site Wifi, comfortable bedrooms, decent bathroom facilities, just an overall great place to stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Quite and very clean

A very enjoyable stay and will return. Great location, The lady running it was so obliging and helpful. And even offered me a free breakfast, as the communal TV wasn't working. I ended up with a double room instead of a single which was another bonus. Its hard to find accommodation where the price accommodates a solo traveller, but this is definitely one of them. Thank you and well done.

The only issue was the communal tv not working, but the staff certainly went out of their way to help me still get to watch the football. This was out of their hands until a tv engineer came, and they couldn't have been more helpful letting me watch tv next door and setting up the ipad for me. Thanks again to the lovely staff.
