it’s the motel not the hotel. Situated on busy road, noisy gas station with trucks directly under your windows. The view in on the gas station not the lake. Pictures of the lake were taken from the diner not the room. Not the facilities at all not sauna , nothing, no horse riding either. Falsely advertised as a hotel. It’s MOTEL.

Better service at helpdesk in English and maybe some tourguide to the near city.

probably New management… I always eat the nice schnitzel but this time I was soooo dissapointed. instead of the big nice meat it was a very thin probably frozen thing. no vegetables as usual. breakfast different. bad quality of scrambled eggs absolutely not as usual.

location for hotel vatter leden is perfect going north or south, east or west in Central Sweden then it IS indeed the ideal choice for a nights stay over getting fully rested until the next day's driving. Breakfast had what was needed and service overall with late check in allowed was good. Parking was also available and rooms were clean, functional and well equipped.

Breakfast was fine had what was needed. Would have been ncie though to be able to have a stronger coffee via a machine perhaps in the breakfast room.

Location is perfect for Vatterleden and a perfect stop. Food was good at the restaurant. Room overnight was good only perhaps in room 6 where I stayed some new mattresses should be installed as they were very very soft and must have been used a few years. But it didnt influence my overall view of the motel - it was good !

Breakfast! Stayed in tour place a week Ago and found everything to be excellent. This time at 9.15, no more bacon, no milk and just two dark rolls left. Had to knock at kitchen. Girl came with rolls, but told me you were out of bacon. At 9.15! Disappointed. So I had to knock on door three times for bread, bacon and milk. Almost no Swedish sausage Left and only four slices of ham and there was three more guests. Such a difference from last time!
