The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed( excluding the sheets and towels which we knew about prior to our arrival). Living room furniture was new and comfortable. The property was very quiet and peaceful. I checked out the beds while making them trying to figure out which bed would be best for my mom. Both bed felt hard and I chose one of the twin bed and surprisingly slept excellent all week. Mom slept in the full bed in the other bedroom and had difficulty saying it was too hard and she could feel the springs. Mom is 85 and has a lot of health issues and mobility issues so getting in and out the side door was very difficult with no railing. There are railings leading up to the walkway and a rail for the front steps which worked much better for her. Overall we both enjoyed this cozy cottage and location and would definitely come back.

Almost perfect, stayed for two weeks, had friends in near by cottage who had a washer and dryer; they shared.

The views of Wellfleet from the unit are breathtaking and the best part of rental. The unit itself should have been better for the cost of the unit. There was no AC in the unit and when we arrived it was nearly 100F, a temperature that was expected to maintain for a few more days. At night we had to keep the windows open to keep cool, but this led to more problems because dogs frequently walked past the unit barking. The furniture in the living room seemed new, but also cheap and very uncomfortable (hard). Additionally all of the appliances in the unit were old. The service from the Leasing Agent, Berkshire Hathaway Robert Paul properties, was terrible. When arriving at the location to pick up the keys there was no explanation of where the property was on the site. After driving to the condo site, we walked around for 20 min trying to determine which unit was ours. I attempted to call the Leasing Agent at that time but received no response. An owner of an adjacent condo helped us out. Robert Paul Prosperities also alleged that I had a dog on the property. I was called by a leasing agent and a note was left on my door that there was a dog in the unit and it was barking. Apparently they were told this by other owners at the condo site. I did not bring a dog on this trip.

Super property!! Wellfleet is beautiful and this little house is perfectly located. Perfect for our family of 4. Amazing time!

This cottage was exactly as advertised! The place was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The view is spectacular and the location could not be more perfect. It's a quiet, peaceful area with 3 great restaurants just a short walk away and many more great places just a short drive. After a day of whale watching off the coast of Provincetown or a day spent at Martha's Vineyard, it was wonderful to come back to the peace and quiet of the waterfront directly in front of the cottage. We fell asleep most nights to the sound of the waves almost right outside out bedroom window, There was some unexpected excavation and workmen around for the first few days to fix the electrical issue mentioned in the other reviews. Paula from the property management company called us multiple times to be sure everything was ok and the owner graciously offered to compensate us for the inconvenience. Rest assured that the electrical issues mentioned in other reviews have been resolved! This was our first trip to Cape Cod and we could not have asked for a better experience! We will definitely be back!

We had a good week. Met up with relatives from out of state that were in another cottage a few doors from us. This listing needs updated pictures as newer furniture now. There are 2 fans available, grill (gas) needs updating and cover does not fit properly. Plenty of pillows and blankets, TV is small but easy to navigate and internet available. Right next to water, pergoda and seating of stairs to beach. Lovely beach not crowded as we were there pre season. Lights flickered daily - not sure what the issue was. Clean, nice shower. We would probably consider going again in a few years.

Friends had provided some suggestions as to restaurants, and activities which was very helpful. The staff at the rental office was very helpful with additional suggestions and information/attitude guides that were very useful. We live on a lake in central New York and so our expectations were framed a bit by that. Any expectations we had were exceeded. The restaurants were amazing and the seafood selections outstanding. The hiking trails, beach walks, biking trails were scenic and interesting. We wished that we could have taken one of the kayak tours but the season for that had closed. Our rental cottage was great and had a fantastic view of the beach and the bay. Just watching the tides come and go was fascinating. All in all we would certainly consider a return trip at some time in the future.

It's a very nice property in a beautiful location, well appointed and stocked. Great ocean views in both bedrooms. We love the village, the hiking, ocean and bay beaches. Lots of good restaurants. We'd love to come back but the mattresses were extremely hard and uncomfortable. Mattress toppers would really help. Other than the mattresses, we loved our stay at the cottage.

The only issues we had was that the house was cleaner when we left than upon our arrival. Sinks (kitchen & bathroom) were not scrubbed, esp around the top / facet handle area. Floors still had debris as if not thoroughly swept or vacuumed. We couldn’t check in until 4pm because of stringent COVID cleaning process and we were completely surprised by the initial appearance. This error falls solely on the cleaning crew being use and not necessarily on rental agent / owner. But I still paid a nice amount of $$$$ to stay here and was the one cleaning the space to prepare for our stuff being brought inside.

After I went through and did the cleaning, the rest of our stay was practically perfect. Cottage was very cute. The beach is right there and tons of local restaurants nearby. Although this unit has no AC, several fans were provided (thank goodness- since it was hot!). My only recommendation would be to get rid of all the awkward futon furniture in living room! It was not comfortable seating, looks messy as cushions slide, and clutters the space. A nice smaller sectional would be better with a small coffee table.

The rental group was easy to work with and took the time to tell me what we needed to bring (towels & linens) and what was there already. Very friendly group. They had our package ready for pick up on our arrival. Only one house key was provided (no others were in lock box), which made it very difficult when my husband and I would leave separately.

We would absolutely stay here again. The issues/recommendations mentioned are to inform the rental group and owner. We have stayed in N. Truro, Truro, and Wellfleet for 25+ years and this was a top favorite spot.

We spent a wonderful week in Wellfleet. The cottage was within a short walk to three great restaurants and a bit of a longer walk to many more. We definitely recommend checking out Pearl during happy hour, 3-5, for the live music and delicious food (daily during July and August). Mac's at the Pier has excellent lobster rolls and enough variety on their menu so everyone can find something they would like. The Bookstore restaurant was so good we ate there twice (try their desserts). The cottage is right on the bay so we were able to fall asleep to the sounds of the waves most nights. At high tide, the kids enjoyed swimming in the bay. At low tide, they enjoyed finding crabs, scallops, oysters and clams. Two wonderful ocean beaches are about a 10-15 minute drive away (Head of the Meadow and Marconi). They are well worth the cost and veterans and active duty military can get in free! We saw several seals and enjoyed boogie boarding in the waves. The complex has 2 bike racks if you want to bring your bikes and a community clothes line. The cottage had everything we needed and was exactly as described. While small, it was just enough room for the 4 of us, especially since we were outside most of the time any way. There was a nice breeze off the bay most evenings to make it comfortable to sleep, but on the few very hot days, the house did become quite stuffy. Some air conditioning units would be a nice addition. It would be nice to have a washer and dryer as well, but there definitely isn't room for them. There were a lot of hooks to hang towels to air dry. The biggest complaint I have is that the furniture and beds were quite uncomfortable. If we stay here again we would definitely have to find a way to bring a memory foam mattress topper or something. The cottage was stocked with everything we needed including a hair dryer, keurig and toaster oven. We didn't want to use the oven since that would make the house hotter, so we took advantage of the gas grill. The community is friendly, safe, quiet and low key. We loved the atmosphere and will definitely stay in this area again!

The tides are fun and there are plenty of sea life to observe. Short walk to Wellfleet center and many shops and restaurants. Bike trail and hiking close by. There are outdoor chairs in a shed next to cottage but no table to eat outside. Would suggest bringing a folding table for outdoors as the view is beautiful. Also bring paper products and soaps as these were not stocked at the house. It is not the best place for children as there are strict condo rules about no playing on the grass, no ball play, no scooters/bikes on sidewalks, and all personal items must be picked up from yard and put back in the house when not actively using. We, along with the other renters with children, were reminded of these rules by the summer long residents. There is a playground about a 10 min walk down the street and the beach was just outside the door. So, there are locations to play for children just not directly in the condo area. The cottages are very close together and the rules are likely to attempt to keep everyone comfortable, just challenging with children that want to run and play, which you might want them to do on vacation.

This was a wonderful getaway week for my wife and young son! We loved the beach as well as the proximity to town. We would definitely recommend!

A beautiful view, amazingly warm water, terrific location, this place had it ALL. we had a WONDERFUL time!

This cottage and its location exceeded all of my expectations. The cottage is clean, bright, airy and open. But be aware that the bedrooms are snug. There was a constant breeze coming through the windows and we could often hear the waves. There are water views from every part of the cottage with the bluffs of Great Island in one direction and the harbor in the other. The condo community was quiet and the other renters/owners were very respectful. The harbor is an easy 1/3 mile walk up the street and Wellfleet Center is a pleasant one-mile walk. I'm looking forward to returning.
