Lovely garden, lovely ladies, great vibe

Quiet sítio just outside Macapá, very close to the University, with little chalets set in beautiful grounds. Dona Ivana and Dona Fatima looked after us attentively and made us very welcome. We dipped in the pool after dark and sat on our balcony and watched the sun rise. Very special place. Be sure to explore the grounds and find the jetty, meet the cows and listen to the chickens.

Would recommend having a rental car. We did get Uber rides from the city to the sítio easily, but not from the sítio back to the city.

I felt the love of the Brazilian country people and bowed down very much. If you want to live in nature, come here.

The lack of wifi was inconvenient.

We loved it there at Fatimas and would recommend it to everybody:) Our room was great, we loved the huge parc, the little house where we had breakfast, the breakfast itself and most of all we liked Fatima, who was really friendly and helped us get around, let us wash our clothes etc. Thank you!

The only thing that was tricky was the location, we had troubles finding it.. but it‘s pretty easy: if you come from Macapa: take a right turn on the road before the Motel Paris, then the first one left, then the first one right, get to the end of the street and you are there:) it‘s also easy to get around with buses to Santana or Macapa from there :)
