Very nice room. Good location. We could see the acropolis from the top floor restaurant. The view was great. The food was delicious. The staff were extremely nice and sweet!

Rooms super comfy with amazing bed and noiseproof windows. Good breakfast with a large choice. Very clean. Great rooftop with a view over the acropole. Can do everything by walk. Great restaurants around.

It is a bit of a shame that we can't enjoy the rooftop without ordering drinks from the bar even if it's just to smoke a cigarette. Lady at the front desk told us to take a 20€ taxi to get to the ferry on time because it's supposedly very busy to get there... we got there more than an hour in advance after a 10min drive. Better safe than sorry I guess but a very expensive taxi for the short distance...

For breakfast, they didn't have lactose free milk which I thought was unacceptable at a 4* hotel... They told me it has just finished but it should never at such an establishment.... We got two separate beds put near eachother so everytime we stay in the middle the beds go apart which was very uncomfortable!! The walls and doors are not enough to keep noise out , felt like people in the corridor where inside our own room. Location was in a slummy area.

Unfortunately Illisos is not a central hotel, hence I wouldn’t recommend it to a girl travelling solo. Because if you want to experience the night in the centre, it would be safer to get a central hotel, the walk back to Illissos doesn’t feel the safest. The view is also not the nicest from the bedroom if you care about that, is either to the back which is a quiet street, not the most beautiful, or the the main avenue, full of cars passing by.

Room was clean, breakfast was of good quality and had lots of variety. Front desk staff was very helpful. Location is just few minutes walk away from metro/tram station.

Hotel has a roof restaurant with Acropolis views. We went up to take couple of night photos, lady in the restaurant was insisting that we must order something before we can be in the restaurant. The restaurant was empty so we were not going to block any other guests who intended to eat there. Apparently we lived in the same hotel was not good enough reason for her. She kept pointing at one notice from management, whereas that notice only mentioned "Consumption of Outside food is not permitted". There was not mention of ordering is must TO BE in that restaurant.

The location is good because there are some good restaurants around the hotel. There are a variaity of food in breakfast. The room's decoration looks new.

Located not far from Acropolis, 10 minutes by walking; clean rooms but needing an urgen renewal; breakfast passable but poor range of fruit; staff willingness; reasonable free wifi performance. Not expensive.

Problems to lock the room’s door. Very poor maintained bath room. Old fashion design of main hotel areas. Smoking smell in the room. Noisy in the night. Four stars are definitely overrated.

The locating is amazing. Close to the metro, or centre by foot, yet still far enough from busy touristy places, with cheap places for food or drinks nearby. Everything was nice and clean, and I enjoyed staying in the room. The view and rooftop bar are a cherry on top!

Sometimes, usually in the early morning, slamming doors of nearby rooms would wake me up. While the soundproofing was great in a way that I couldn't hear any traffic from the outside, talking in the hallway was noticeably loud. Pillows were too thick for my personal taste, but that's really not an issue, just personal taste.

Comfortable beds, very clean and spacious room, excellent breakfast, friendly staff. The location is great if you enjoy walking. It's around a twenty-five-minute walk to the main sights and center. In a safe neighborhood with plenty of local restaurants and bars close by. Great roof top bar with views of the Acropolis

The property is a little dated for a 4-star but was extremely clean, comfortable, and good value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

I like the lady in the reception for the first 2 days of our arrival who helped us a lot and was very nice She was kind and helpful
