I had stayed before and found it nice enough to return to, despite some reservations about staff attitude. Unfortunately, my impression that foreign tourists are held in total contempt was confirmed in a most unprecedented encounter

I was publicly shouted at and humiliated by a young woman - flashing her eyes, castigating me and pointing her finger in my face. Apparently I had mistakenly opened the wrong door to the public lavatory. Her reaction was extreme and utterly unprofessional. It completely marred my stay and I left Toledo as soon as I possibly could. When we travel alone in your beautiful country, we trust that we will receive the customary kindness and great hospitality. This experience was distressing beyond belief and I would never return.

Convenience to train station and for bus stop up to town. Total silence. Very pretty, spacious room. Evening receptionist was delightful. Friendly pavement bar nearby - evenings only - plus small supermarket

The morning reception were less than accommodating when I had to beg to check out ten minutes late. I was late due to there being no place open to have as much as a coffee in the morning near the hotel - and the hotel does not even provide water. The cleaners were in no rush as the place was almost empty the night before - and such intransigence nearly put me off returning

De kamer was schoon en de ligging tov het treinstation prima. Ook de binnenstad was op loopafstand, ongeveer 20 minuten.

De kamer was op zolder met schuin dak. We moesten steeds bukken. Tijdens het douchen rook het naar een grondlucht. In het begin was het water bruin. We hadden geen uitzicht, een dakraampje. Het restaurantje was gesloten, niets te krijgen, nog geen koffie. In de omgeving ook niets.

The room was quite adequate for a one-night stay in Toledo. It's right across the street from the train station and an easy walk to the historic center of Toledo.

Very helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. Could have used an iron, but wouldn't say that's a shortcoming. Very close to train station.

convenient place to stay just outside the old town and close to the train station, nice room, air conditioning works, wifi works, and windows kept out noise. plus we could store our luggage

front desk could have had a bit more information regarding town and activities- especially given Corpus Christi.

The room was beautiful, immaculately clean and the traditional feel of the hotel was very appealing. Lovely overall.

The location was convenient as it was a 5 minute walk to the train station which we came in on. The hotel was an attractive historic building that was clean, the bathroom was polished and bright, so compliments to the cleaning staff. The reception staff were very courteous. The room that we were in was spacious with a nice view of the countryside.

My wife and I travelled for 21 days in Spain and this hotel offered the least for amenities of all our stays and was most expensive by far. Our review would have been much better if the hotel was 100 euro which I feel is the more appropriate value. The room was basic and offered little in comfort.

The Location is amazing, 2 minutes from the train station, 2 minutes from the buses! As a solo traveler I feel safe.

No breakfast. No English channels on TV. Hairdryer didnt work.

No kettle in room. NO tourist info or maps or help of any kind. Staff at arrival no English, made difficult to get info. Wete put in small room no windows very stuffy. And hot. AC never worked. The promised wifi was POOR and worked sporadicly. After complaining received room with window but had to share bed with my friend.

Rooms are quite old and there was no restaurant nor bars around at this weekend .

I thought the hotel would be more modern and comfortable.

The interior of the hotel is very beautiful. The room was quite basic and clean. The position is perfect: it is very close to the station and at a 5 minute walk from the old city.

Secure easy parking. Access at the the side of the hotel and then direct into reception. Location 15 minutes to old town once we discovered the escalator.

This is NOT a 3 star hotel. No food or drink available, not even the means to make a drink. Very limited printed information, and then only in Spanish. No maps. No information volunteered by reception staff regarding escalators to town even though we asked for directions. Our room was only made up once and then only when we realised we had to put the “ Please Make Up My Room” card on the door. Nothing was explained. All this is a shame because the hotel is well located opposite the railway station and a lovely walk over the bridge to the old town plus access to the nature trail (Don Quixote Trail) along the bottom of the valley. The escalators save you a long, hard up hill climb of about half an hour.
