Location was good and staff were friendly.

I did request anything extra that would make the stay special for my boyfriend’s birthday but we were put in a family room. Shower also leaked out on to the floor.

"Garden Room" to have our included breakfast was drab, with no pictures, no color on walls. It was just one big room and for the start of our day, was very dissapointing. Breakfast offerings on the middle table was more toward older crowd. The cut up fruit was in water and if it had grapes, they were each cut in half and had bowl of prunes. Croissants were not fresh and no scones either of our 4 days, although it was listed on the menu. Need more fresh variety and better presentstion of fruit/cheeses/meat. Perhaps place trays of food nicely around table instead of the older cafeteria style metal serving table. View from room was of top inner roof and 2 other rooms. Window latch to keep window open at night had safety concerns since anyone from the outside could lift the latch without problems Glass shower insert/door let water on floor. Need better design.

The best part of the Torc Hotel is its staff. From the reception counter to the bar to the breakfast room, we received exceptional, friendly service from everyone we met. The rooms were very large and clean.

The only drawback is its location. It is not walking distance to Killarney, but we were able to get a taxi to and from town for about 10 euro each way.

Breakfast was OK, could have been better (sausages slightly undercooked). Also had a snack in the bar which was lovely.

Room was nice but pillows were quite hard.

The personnel was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice and clean. The bed was especially comfortable.

We did get some issues with warm water in the room. They were quickly resolved by helpful staff. Breakfast is good but quite limited in choices.
