I loved the unexpected view from the bedroom window and the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The location was amazing with great walks and a beach right on the door step.The small fridge in the bedroom was very handy. Although we did not use the dining area, the view was amazing from there.

We missed having a kettle in the room with tea bags and coffee that is all really.

Great location, right on the coast, with lots of little bays and safe cycling. Excellent breakfast and fantastic view while we ate it. Great staff - very helpful but unobtrusive.

Not many restaurants nearby but great choice in Le Pouliguen.

Hotel owner and hotel manager both very friendly and welcoming. Easy parking. Close to a nice beach (100m walk) Calm neighborhood despite being next to a coastal road (this was our experience in early September - may not be the case in the high season) Bathroom/WC well fitted and of reasonable size. Lounge and veranda comfortable and pleasant. Pool table in the lounge area (free use)

Bedroom very small (15cm between the double bed and the wall on each side). Difficult to stow our 2 big suitcases in bedroom. A pity there is no lift (elevator) to get to 1st floor.

Beautiful small hotel on the Ocean shore with beautiful view. Hotel is quite elegant, rooms are of rather standard size, simply correct. Staff is very kind and trying to help the clients, what is very rare in France. We really felt well there I will come back on next occasion.

Perfect location in a very quiet set up

Great view from our room, delicious breakfeast (those madeleines, mon Dieu!) and very friendly staff. The hotel is located near some nice beaches. Parking was free as well and located right next to the hotel.

stunning location

This small hotel is at a great location. Quiet, just at the beach, pet freindly. We got a very nice buffet breakfast. There are two very nice seefood restaurants in ten minutes walk. It even has a little private beach if you want. Even in main season was in not overfilled. I really loved it. Really friendly staff.

Everything was just fine. There is nothing to complain about. Maybe the bathroom is small. But if you have the ocean front of the door, than the bathroom does not really matter.

Wonderful little hotel with great views of the ocean, lovely owners and good breakfast.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at Le Lichen. A beautiful setting and view, a cozy, comfortable room (with an extra entrance onto the patio, our two boys could just run down the path to the beach), very friendly staff, and a delightful breakfast. The weather was perfect so with all of the windows (especially the breakfast room) we soaked in the natural light. My boys also loved the pool table. We would absolutely return to Le Lichen!

The location and view was excellent

Given that I am partly disabled, I was horrified to at the lack of any facilities suitable for someone in my condition. There was no ramp up to the entry of the hotel and no grab handles in the toilet or shower. Worse still there was no phone or other means of contacting reception in the event of a fall. I even tried calling reception in the night to check their availability and they did not answer. On the more general side, there was no water in the room or other facilities such as a coffee machine which was totally unacceptable given the price of the room at 220 euros for one night.

The location was amazing, right by the sea, and the sea view from the breakfast room was just as amazing. Plus I had a room with a private terrace with the same sea view where I could enjoy my breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helped with my heavy suitcase up the stairs. They also provided great advice on good restaurants for dinner. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Parking was available for free right in front.

The room itself was a bit cramped with the huge bed taking most of the space .

The view from the room, with its adjoining terrace was superb. The bed was also very comfortable.

For the price, the room was very compact, with little room around the bed.
