The ladies that served us at breakfast were very nice and tried really hard to make us feel good. The location was nice, the tram passes right under the hotel. The bathroom was nice.

We ended up booking this hotel based on a review about how exquisite the breakfast was, when it really was nothing that a person alone can’t prepare, there were no pancakes, no waffles and only boiled egg. The coffee/cappuccino was ok. The room was old and we could hear everything from the stairs and the street.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment at the second floor. The apartment was big, spacious and very clean. There are parking places near the building. There is also a big parking a few hundred meters away from the hotel. The breakfast was very rich and tasted really good. The personnel was polite.

One of the rooms had the window to the main road. Late in the evening and early in the morning we could hear the tram passing by. We slept with the windows open and it was a bit noisy.

We are extremely impressed with the the way we were checked in, the room was pleasant, the bed was really comfortable. We were very late but they were willing to pea-are us a late dinner and breakfast was also very good. Can only recommend this hotel.

We liked everything

Everyone in the hotel was really nice. We had a great experience! Although it's not at the heart of the city, we could reach the center easily by tram.

The traffic right outside our room was pretty loud that we were not able to sleep well.

Restaurant was closed on Monday night. Because of this, there was no access to any common space to hang out. We had a baby with us and once she was down for the evening, we were forced to hang out in the hallway. Also no A/C.

the hotel is really nice, the rooms are comfortable, but the the tram line is just under the rooms windows. I couldnd't sleep at all becasue of the noise.

Easy access from and to the highway. Small , but clean bathroom with toiletries. Comfortable mattress ( but not the pillow)

No food . The check in time ends at 6PM . I guess that is the latest time to meet a person there. We received an email how to find the key. That was not a problem. The problem was that there was no relevant information whatsoever. We arrived just before 9 PM. The place looked deserted. There was no information about anything. The restaurant was closed. No information about where and when the breakfast will be. No password for the WI FI. Nothing about other places around. The whole area is very quiet, which is probably nice . But after many hours of travel , its not a good place to be, if you don't want to travel more for the day. There are no restaurants ( the only one open after 9 only served alcohol) . There are no grocery stores, no bakeries, no cafes , no kiosks . So no food in the evening. We thought that if they close so early in the evening, maybe they open early in the morning. No. At 7:15 AM there was still nobody. No open door. No indication that there will be some breakfast. We decided not to waste our time hanging around . After evening without dinner , we left without breakfast either. . On the way back to the highway there was no open place for any food .

Clean, comfortable, spacious room. The lady who served us breakfast was exceptionally attentive and curtious.

Problems with payment which for some reason couldn't be done through bookings.com and required bank transfer.

Excellent breakfast. Classic German Gasthaus but with modern amenities. Very beautiful village location but a short tram ride to the centre of Freiburg.

It was clean. Good location: next to the tram station and close to the start of hiking trails.

Very short greeting. Key was given, but otherwise hardly any explanation. Room: lots of flies, no safe, very bad pillows, weak shower, no mini fridge. Breakfast: Disappointing after reading the glowing reviews. What we got was very limited. Some tough sandwiches, bottled fruit juice, cold hard-boiled egg, plastic jar of yogurt, a little bit of cheese and ham, small plastic jars of chocolate, jam and honey, and coffee. We asked for just water and some fruit ourselves the first morning, but they were not happy with this. You could only have breakfast between 07:30 and 09:30. Hospitality: we didn't get much info. No info about the area or the room. We didn't really feel like we were welcome.

The location was a few station away from the city center but felt like you’re in a village, very beautiful and peaceful. The staff were also lovely, made you feel at home! The room was quite clean and comfortable.

The room was not ventilated and very smelly. The images look a lot better than the actual place. When having breakfast there, the hotels dog, came and ate from the tables. This really made us sick to see specially that our daughter ended up in the hospital from some gastronomic infection on the last day of our stay. They also lied twice about their availability for tables for dinner time (we have two kids and may be that is noisy?).
