Very nice staff and the place is a quiet gem even though it is in the heart of the city. The restaurant at the hotel has excellent food.

Such a quaint Meson and Restaurant- a little oasis, a very comfortable place to sit and have a meal- breakfast was great, a very nice choice . We had dinner which was also excellent and the room was adorable with everything one needs. Walking distance to zocalo and plenty of Restaurants and private parking across the street- lo recomiendo mucho, un Meson encantador! Gracias!

The shared areas, location. Beds were comfy. Filtered water on demand and the rooftop jacuzzi (book in advance) Claudia the pizza maker eas great w my son.

Super small bedrooms. No closet space. Having to shuffle things arou d to fit. Not great if travelling with small kids. Some of the staff are mot trained and couldn't provide info of services offered like a personal modem to be able to work.

I loved the charm, service, attention to detail, margaritas, gardens, large hotub, spa… I absolutely loved this hotel! it has more character & charm in a hotel than I’ve found in a very long time.

The garden surrounding the hotel is gorgeous. The room we were given was beautiful, huge, had a fridge, hair dryer and coffee maker. It felt very luxurious and perfect for our honeymoon. The breakfast was amazing and easily the best we have had so far (we have stayed in cheaper places until now or not had breakfast inc). The staff were very helpful. The receptionists did not speak any English but we were able to book a taxi to go to the butterfly reserve.

Our room was very close to reception and so some noise could be heard but we were provided with ear plugs so didn’t mind. The hot water took a while to come through. It did work, so if it seems like it doesn’t, give it a minute! I wanted to take the cat Priscilla home with me and couldn’t.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice music for Christmas. Wonderful tea with real mint, lavender, or lemon grass. Walking distance to town center. Laundry facility across the street.

The heating system needs to be updated. We had to ask for space heaters. Uvaldo was great help with this matter.

This hotel had a nice big room for our family (parents and two teenagers) the room included a couch, table, fridge, microwave and nice sized bathroom. There was also a fire stove, which we used twice. The room also had a lot of natural light. We liked all the plant life in the courtyard and restaurant area. The breakfasts were good, though not much variety on the menu, and the restaurant provided Italian cuisine which was very basic.

The room didn't have any heat or a fan. We visited in December so it was getting into the low 50's and high 40's at night, so we were very cold in the evening. The room had a fireplace but you had to buy the wood yourself. We asked the front desk for wood and we had to wait more than an hour before it was provided (for $80 pesos), and the wood we were given was full of nails and rotten! We also booked an excursion through the hotel to see the monarch butterflies. All that was provided was transportation. We were never informed that there would be a $100 pesos per person entry fee and if you wanted to ride the horses you would have to pay $300 pesos per person. NO VISA! We were not prepared because the hotel failed to tell us any of these details before leaving.

The vibe of the place was something special we liked the decoration and the room comfiness, also the location is near the cathedral.

Specifically in our room with the bathtub the humidity was too high when we used it, maybe a better airflow system is required. Also, even tho the location was good, we got back late at night and we had to knock the door a lot of times before someone came and opened it (I expect a guard at the entrance), I mean maybe it’s not an insecure area but it was dark and felt kind of insecure.

The SPA staff were really good a their Job. Front desk and waiters not that good in customer service

We found a Scorpion in the bathroom towels, unfortunately no one was hurt but they need to have better cleaning. Also the location is not as good as we were thinking, downtown area not with the best view.
