Small, but good spa area, wide corridors, spacious suite, good location, playground on site, one evening there was very good live music to dinner

Food was okay, room could have been cleaner, no hooks to hang your towels in the bathroom / toilet, the restaurant is in the middle in an open space, which is not very cozy

They allowed us to check out an hour late. The musicians at dinner were very friendly. My daughter enjoyed the massage she had.

The biggest issue was that the fridge had a problem closing which meant every hour or so it started making noises and I had to get up and close it again. By the morning it felt something close to Chinese torture and I barely slept at all. I told the receptionist about it in the morning, who apologised but seemed more concerned about how I was going to pay for the two lemonades we had at dinner. Quite why two soft drinks weren't included in the price I don't know. But frankly, the whole package is very over priced for what it is. The hotel is tired and not like the photos on the website. The spa had two luke warm baths and one unheated larger one. There wasn't any that were remotely hot. The hotel was almost empty from what I could see and the spa was already busy. I can't imagine what it's like when the hotel has more people staying there. There is a pool for young children but it's small so parents chose to use the adult one meaning it was full of inflatable toys and kids throwing balls around. So not relaxing at all. There was no staff around either in terms of supervising the pool areas or manning the bar so you couldn't buy a drink there. The restaurant food was very disappointing, both dinner, which was pretty tasteless with a poor selection and breakfast too. I'm very relieved we only booked to stay here one night and was happy to just get home again. For the same money or less, there are much better experiences to be had in Hungary. I definitely would not stay here again. The Villa Medici in Veszprem would be an example of a much better choice for anyone looking for a little break away from Budapest. It has everything this hotel does not. Oh, the drain for the shower in the room was blocked too, so you were left standing in a pool of dirty water after even a quick shower.

Staff was extraordinary, they really exceeded my expectations. The room was huge, we had enough space for everything, the cleaning staff and the quality was top. Receptionists and waiters were awesome. We were asked questions we didnt expect, like we were late by an hour or so from lunch, and they asked us if we want to eat as we just arrived. No one sent us out from the dining room after breakfast was over.

The room facilities were kinda questionable, we both feld kinda sick from the AC (running nose, headache, troatache in the morning) but didnt know whats the source/reason behind it, but when we left the room, it suddenly solved. The bathroom had a soap dispenser that wasnt full and basically the plastic holder came off.

It was a wonderful experience. The staff was very kind to us. The food was excelent. The apartment was very confortable.

I don't understand why there is a kitchen in the room and no plate, fork, knife, spoon, small kitchen towel etc. Breakfast were very avarage for a 4* hotel. All signs in the room and also for food are only in hungarian language. No English, Deutsch or any other language so that is in my opinion very weird as there were a lot of foreigners. And we had a lot of insect in the room. Eventually on our pillow some weird big thing 😬

Nice place to relax, with swimming pool and spa. Nice starting place for some hiking on the hills near the Danube.

Some staff were reluctant to address me once they knew I was speaking English/German. Thankfully they always found someone which could speak one or both of these languages but it was quite an awkward atmosphere.

Great hotel!! Great location!! Playroom for adults& kids!! We were enjoyed very much in our staying!!

Breakefast and lunch (dinner) - very good and taste. Reception and restaurant service - extremely nice. Room - especially suite app - very big, clean as a rest of the hotel.

The staff really could not have been more helpful, particularly when we speak no Magyar. The buffet breakfasts and dinners were way above average in variety and quality. The pool was an unexpected bonus too. We'll be back.

For me that was one of the best hotels ever, I can only recommend. Super clean, high level service from all the hotel team, breakfasts and dinners always tasty, fresh and huge, wellness very nice with openning hours until 23:00 hrs which we appreciated a lot after long busy day. Im sure everyone will love it. Hope to come again. 🇨🇿

Friendliness of staff, I booked my stay on my birthday and when we were having dinner on the night of my birthday, a waitress brought us champagne as a token of gratuity by the hotel

When we were leaving the hotel, there wasn't a pen to write our experiences down with

the spa was better than expected, nice spacious rooms with comfy beds. we got langos for free over lunch on Friday! 🙂

the sauna has triggered the fire alarm, which was on for almost 30 minutes and the staff couldn’t stop it

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, both at the reception or the waiters/waitresses or even the facility ladies. The hotel looks great from the inside and the outside, it really looks just like on the photos (opposed to many hotels which still have their photos from the times of their opening some 20+ years ago). The buffet breakfast and dinners were great, the food was tasty and plentiful. Obviously, buffet BF/D limits the offered food but there was just enough variability in it. Maybe I'd go for bit less fried and more fresh/light foods but hey, we're in Hungary :) Oh, and we've got a bottle of wine as a welcome drink, cooled down, and the wine was really good! There was also one of the best selection of drinks in the mini-bar in the room, with wine, sprinkling wine, standards drinks, sodas and PÁLINKA!

It's really just nuances, questions of personal preferences which probably could have been resolved with the staff but I wasn't so much bothered by them to even walk down and put it up. e.g. they didn't have kids bathrobes - a hotel being child/family friendly could have at least a few. But we've asked in forward and have brought our own...
