This is truly a fabulous hostel, my stay there was faultless. The town is a living museum, there is amazing artwork spread throughout the town. All the people there are really friendly and I never felt like I was intruding in their enchanting pueblo. The hostel is run by Veronica who is very professional, warm and friendly(& also a very good cook). The hostel also has a restaurant which makes delicious traditional Andalusian dishes. The Wi-Fi at the hostel is awesome considering it's remote location. The town has an olympic swimming pool which is included in your stay. If you want to completely "get away from it all", this is the place! I would go back in a heartbeat.

The road to get to the village is spectacular and the isolation and setting is part of the charm. To drive that road every day might take some getting used to but any art lover should definitely make the trip

Gloria is a delightful host. She was always polite and did her best to accommodate me despite the language barrier. I had one meal there and it was great.

Location was great, parking a couple of walking minutes away. Public parking, safe spot. Breakfast and dinner at hotel, limited choices in town. Reasonable and good. Helpful and accommodating owners.

The twin bed were very comfortable.

The room does not appear in the photos. Each room has a color and we got the green one, with a small window overlooking a courtyard.

Gloria and her husband made our stay exceptional. Although Gloria's English was limited, we communicated with technology when we checked in and good old fashioned improvisation for the rest of our two night stay. A privately run "old fashioned hotel" like this in England would cost two or three times the price. Bed was really comfortable and always piping hot water in the sink and shower. We ate in on the set menu which was well cooked Spanish home cooking. To reach the village does involve driving fairly narrow windy roads but is well worth it, situated as it is in a wonderful situation

Venetian blinds stuck half way down, but given the shortness of our stay we just worked round it.

Breakfast was simple but excellent. Room basic but clean and comfortable. Good shower. Lovely village with nice surroundings, lots of walks and very friendly people. Hotel staff really helpful and happy. Local restaurant excellent value for money with fantastic panoramic views.

Bed was hard and there was a very small TV but given the price something we could put up with.

Spotlessly clean, and lovely home cooked food, right in the heart of the village. We will stay there again. The generous, and friendly hosts made it a special visit.

Right in the Centre of the village. Comfortable beds, great shower, a fire and blanket provided (it was early February and it gets cold up there). Veronica and Manuel were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good too. Lovely village. Great hiking. Good fun all round. A very quiet village with a couple of bars. The artwork is amazingly and around every corner.

The hotel advertised it had a tapas bar lunch etc but this was closed we had to walk to the edge of the village uphill to eat then we were told at 8pm the hotel would serve evening meal This was served in a cold environment everyone had to wear their coats

A very nice place to stay with excellent facilities and a host who is most welcoming and accommodating. The food is also very good.

Clean and well maintained. Friendly owners and such beautiful surroundings. We will definitely be visiting again!

Very nice and calm small village, the building is in the real centre, few steps from the main square. Frienly management, with Veronica and Gloria. Clean rooms. Recommended for those who like calm, traditional Andalusian life and nature. Abt. 45 mins. drive from Costa del Sol, on the top of mountains. Renting a car is absolutely needed. Parking is available and free.

Pretty room, beautiful placement, the whole village is like from picture. Very nice and helpful host, she has found an electric kettle for us.

1. The bed road to arrive to hotel (slalom road) 2. Not much light in room 3. Room not have air condition , have Ceiling Fan that work bad and make noise. even you want to open the window in room there is no mosquitoes net in windows , room very hot

Veronica is very welcoming, makes us feel home. Hotel is super clean with excellent shower.
