Claire and Dave are sublime hosts and made us feel like part of their family. We loved the arty décor, the amazing views, the exquisite breakfasts and the friendly conversations. The opportunity to share the breakfast table and the communal lounges with interesting and often international guests created a warm vibe. It's a true European chalet in the heart of Jindy.

Glorious view of Lake Jindabyne from the sunny and comfortable sitting room. Really delicious breakfasts and great coffee! The fruit loaf provided for afternoon tea was amazing.

Breakfast offered a lot of choice and the barista coffee was particularly good. Great selection of muesli including fresh berries and yoghurt

We loved our stay here! The room was warm, clean and comfortable. The living area with the fireplace and panoramic views was beautiful - complimentary drinks a nice touch. The breakfast was fantastic and Claire and David were lovely people and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Couldn’t recommend enough, can’t wait to come back!

Troldhaugen is like a second home away from home; it’s warm, cozy and clean. It works as a perfect getaway for a couple whom doesn’t mind the occasional company of other guests in the shared lounge area or for a ski trip. Claire and David are the loveliest people you will meet, Claire looks after your needs; always offering a helping hand with anything at any time. David is a great guy; always offering an extra cup of coffee at breakfast and has all the great advice when it comes to skiing! Breakfast was simple; toast/eggs and coffee was brilliant. Room were clean and the hot water was ample! I’m amazed that they have been operational for more than 8 years and I just found their lovely spot now. Can’t wait to be back! Thank you for an amazing time Claire and David!

the property was very welcoming. I loved the decor, the location & friendliness of everyone. The bed was super comfortable too!

We were served a nice breakfast every morning. The room had a beautiful room to the lake. The room was big and comfortable, nice bedsheets It's about 15-20 mins walk to the lake or city centre.

There is no aircon, and the bathroom was a little too small

Excellent stay, the room was a good size with everything you need. Breakfast was provided each morning, fresh coffee made to order. Both hosts were extremely helpful in whatever we needed, even providing some great suggestions on walks in the national park outside of the main summit walk.
