The quirkiness of the hotel and proximity to the edge of Ortigia. The staff were accommodating, helpful, and provided advice of where to go and eat. Stunning terrace on which to eat breakfast and have a drink at sunset.

We absolutely loved Henry’s House. Delightful in every way, including the verandahs and the sitting room. The service was top notch. The staff made restaurant recommendations and found an excellent local tour guide for us.

This charming hotel was perfect for our one-night stay in Syracuse. The room was lovely and extremely quiet.

No parking belonging to the hotel but in this city it's uderstandable...

great location, terrace and very friendly staff with a lovely breakfast.

a bit nosier than I like but earplugs were provided also normal for a central location (and mostly due to a drain outside property which is not within hotels control) floor in room could do with a scrub.

Terrific location next to the sea, near the Castello Maniace. Easy walk to the Duomo. The building is cute with multiple porches and balconies overlooking the seaside promenade. The bed was comfortable and all refreshments in mini fridge were complimentary. Best part was the friendly, knowledgeable front desk manager who helped us with directions, tips and arranged for garage parking.

Great hotel for Ortigia--perfect location for discovering the town. Filling and very tasty breakfast with lots of choices. Comfortable bed and good shower too. The front desk staff were professional, friendly and spoke excellent English. I'll stay here again on my next visit to Ortigia!

The hotel has so much character and personality. Artwork everywhere. Francisco was especially helpful and courteous.

This was a most excellent hotel. It has a beautiful aspect with a very well located position on Otigia. The breakfast was the best I have had at any hotel. The staff are friendly, well informed and enthusiastic.

Let me bring one of each" This brief exchange encapsulates the warm welcome & exceptional service we enjoyed over 3 nights at Henry's House. Ortigia itself is a fascinating island linked by two bridges to Syracuse. The hotel is set in a perfect location overlooking the bay, and is wonderfully quirky in its style, comfort and ambience. We absolutely loved it and would recommend it in the strongest possible terms.

It is an elegant palace in a wonderful location. The suite terrace provides an amazing view on the sea. Food is good quality.

We were left one hour outside, knocking and ringing in the middle of the night to get access into the hotel. No one at the reception, no answer to the calls. Very unpleasant. What was worse, no apologies and really poor attitude in dealing with the relevant complaint by the senior staff in charge. A real shame considering we had had a wonderful stay up to that point.

Atic place (boutique hotel feeling like in some chateau) with great sea view, very comfortable and great looking terrace. The receptionist always helped us with anything and they were all very kind.

Original hotel and well arranged, staff is very friendly, breakfast is amazing. Location is perfect as well.

Room is a bit humid.
