Location was fantastic, a few steps away from a lovely quiet cove, and less than 10 minutes walk away from the main beach which had a shipwreck off shore which you could easily swim to. The town had an amazing gelateria (few mins walk away from hotel) pizzeria and other restaurants- which we did not visit. We had food at the hotel restaurant which was delicious accompanied by local wine. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, there was ample parking and the rooms had air con- essential as it was very hot. Our room also had a little seating area outside and handy clothes rack for drying your swimwear/towels etc. They had information in the reception and staff provided recommendations on places to visit.

people there are just amazing, always making sure that your stay is perfect. so nice and kind, so rare! breakfast is also great, location is perfect and they have private parkings.

One is always wary when a premises receives such a high rating, but Hotel Sardi did not disappoint. it is located in a very pretty village. We received a very friendly welcome and had a nice quiet room. It was serviced daily to a very high standard. The breakfast had so many choices of good quality food. We also ate in the restaurant every evening and had three choices of a four course meal. The price was amazing for the quality of the the food, which was very imaginative and tasty. They obviously use good ingredients. The service was excellent. At all times, we felt treated as individuals and were very sad to leave. One must also mention the staff. Considering October is late in the season it was amazing how we were always greeted with energy and enthusiasm. On each occasion it was as if it was the first time they had met us. By now Stefano and Chiara will have welcomed Matilde into the world and we would wish them all well. We can't wait until the next time we return to Elba and this beautiful hotel

It would be difficult to find anything that we did not like. However as a tall person, I found the shower a bit small. They did offer to find an alternative room, but as the hotel was full we decided to stay put. It is important to stress that we chose the room and at our next visit, we will book a bigger room. We should have taken the Booking.Com offer to upgrade the room when we had the chance. Don't let this put you off staying at this exceptional hotel

We liked it was a small family owned hotel with everybody there preoccupied to ensure all conditions to their guests. The food was plenty and there were good offers for dinner with traditional Elban dishes. It is situated in a quiet area of the island, close to the bus station. It has plenty of parking spaces. It has discount prices for ferry for their guests - ask them.

It doesn’t have accès to a sandy beach. There is a public beach nearby, but it is rocky.

Everything: very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Amazing view and location directly next to the sea. A nice Big room :) with balcony with sea view.

Everything was GOOD

We only had one night at Hotel Sardi but we would come back. Our room was spotlessly clean, everyone who worked at the hotel was very nice. Breakfast was great and full COVID safety protocols and distancing were being enforced. A very charming and sweet place.
