Perfect location close to the old center
Compared to other accomodations quite expensive for what is offered.

Die Lage ist einfach schön, man hat alles in Fussläufiger Entfernung; das Frühstück ist lecker , und ich finde, diese alten Räumlichkeiten haben einfach ihren ganz eigenen Charme.
Das es so lange braucht, bis warmes Wasser aus der Dusche kommt, und dann auch nur ein relativ dünner Strahl. Das mag auch und natürlich dem alten Gebäude geschuldet sein, aber für jemanden wie mich, der gerne Wasser spahrt, sind über vier Minuten , bis es warm wird, schon sehr lange bzw ich hatte jedesmal ein schlechtes Gewissen..

The entire floor shares one shower. The place wasn't crowded so it wasn't a problem. And there are 2 other bathrooms with toilets only.

Location was in town . Close to free parking.
We have nothing to complain.

it was a lovely location and very quaint
the bed was comfortable but there could have had a few more amenities in the room. some extra pillows would have been nice! and a box of tissues… Europeans don’t seem to use tissues??

Run by a pleasant couple
1.Very cramped room with a difficult eave to negotiate. Not what I expected for 3 stars.
2. I was told by the lady of the house that I needn't keep going back to the buffet for coffee and that I can take my own pot. On the last day I took my own pot, only to have the waitress snatch it back off my table, and I hadn't even poured a cup out. So it was back to square one and I was very frustrated.

Friendly staff, fine breakfast (free of charge, that was a pleasant surprise).
Mold in shower, shower was cold, lots of mosquitos in hallway and room. Stains on bedsheets.

WE had the room with a terrace and it was fantastic to eat on the terrace patio with the sun on the cathedral. The WONDERFUL staff even made meals and let us carry them upstairs to "eat out". Staff took care of our every need and we tried over three days almost every meal on their menu ~~ all were excellent and filling (my husband is two meters tall and eats a lot). Parking was about 50 feet from the door; so very convenient. Breakfast had both hot and cold selections ~~ again, plenty to eat. The Cathedral was VERY close and walking around town seeing all the colored houses on cobblestone streets with unique doors was right out the front door of the Ribe Hotel. The swans on the river were also a treat to watch ~~ again within 6 blocks of the Ribe Hotel. Unfortunately, we will probably never be lucky enough to travel to Ribe again; but IF we do ~~ THIS IS THE PLACE!! "Shout out" to SUPER AMAZING restaurant staff~~ thanks again for all the ice!!

Amazing place, very typical Danish, people are super nice. Bedrooms are super comfortable, everything is spotless, the bathroom is big ans spacious and the breakfast is AMAZING, everything fresh and tasty. They also have a really cool bar with drinks and beers at super good prices. The backyard is very nice and sunny.
I hope we can come back one day.
If you come to Ribe and wanna "hygge" danish style, this is the spot.

Location is superb. Staffs are super friendly. Beautiful little hotel with a good breakfast. Room is clean and good.
No handsoap in the toilet.

Charming building very near the centre of town. Cheerful helpful staff, very good mix of language skills. Simple, generous breakfast.
Intermittent wifi and small shower/bathroom.
