The staff were charming and very helpful. The room was comfortable and well arranged. The bathroom was well appointed with every amenity you could want. The small kitchen was also well appointed with drinks.

The owner was welcoming and very accommodating. The location is perfect! You are 30 second walk from the main attraction. The property was luxurious. The food was delicious.

Perfect location, beautiful room, restaurant, and meals and exceptional staff. Especially, Ryoma Sakai who was the best host we had all trip in Japan.

Slightly on the pricey side if you do all meals.

The room was beautifully furnished and really lovely, with a view of the garden. Architecturally gorgeous. Dinner and breakfasts were delicious and perfectly executed. More importantly the overall service was professional, gracious and attentive without being obtrusive. This was the most memorable point of our trip. On our next trip to Japan we will definitely check out it’s sister location in Toyama.

Nothing, this stay was perfect!

Outstanding experience - from welcome, to lovely well designed immaculate and comfortable rooms, and the truly outstanding dinner where 5 kitchen staff cooked for us three. Views in the small garden, surroundings and whole area are deeply enjoyable. We only stayed one night...too short, 2-3 nights in Kanazawa is better

The staff could not do enough to make sure I was okay, they were so helpful even though I only stayed for one night. I felt very well looked after especially at breakfast. Breakfast was fantastic, it felt very personalised and in serene surroundings. The ryokan is very aesthetically pleasing and close to main sights.

The bed was not comfortable at all and I did not sleep well. There was also a funny smell and the fan which I had to keep on, as it was hot in the room was quite noisy.
