The house was well furnished except for the pop up wardrobes,the front bedroom one half full off bags of duvets. Nice garden and patio furniture, but lawn area accessed by what looked like caravan steps.

The fact there were no toilet rolls in the house, when queried with the owner she said the cleaner had left one but would come back and leave another one( there were four guests)they never materialised. They also do not provide towels ,even though I had information in my emails that said they did( I screenshot it for reference)Sykes listing is confusing in some EMAILS it is a generic message stating no towels in others it states this property provides towels and toilet rolls coupled with photos in the listing of the bathrooms with toilet rolls and towels with matching bathmat ( the bath mat was still there but no towels) the owner was adamant that they had never provided towels. So obviously there listing is out of date and misleading, and very frustrating when you have to dip into your budget for towels for four people . The dining sitting room which looked out into the garden was nicely furnished except for the huge television place over the chimney breast , which was a bit pointless when in front of it is the dining table with a very low hanging light fitting which is right in the centre .of the screen . Bathrooms as well as having no towels or paper there was no where to put toiletries except a little table/trolly thing between the bath and toilet nothing by basin or shower which was frustrating.

The. House was lovely and light. A nice garden and a bonus having a driveway, otherwise it would have been difficult to park.

The stairs were very steep. Hard to go up and down them. Wasn't really suitable for my Mother-in-law who finds it difficult to walk and climb stairs..

Parking place off road by front door, tables and chairs in sheltered garden with choice of barbeques to use, herbs growing in garden for use in cooking. Road has no through traffic, so very quiet, but with pub and Nisa store within walking distance.

The grub screw in the front door internal handle had fallen out, not a major issue, but pointed out to owner when we left. The vacuum cleaner was very noisy and not very effective. Other than these two minor irritations no problems.
