Staff were excellent, room lovely and hotel is gorgeous - great mix of history and modernity.

Staff was extremely welcoming and prepared small details, which show an extra effort to make our stay perfect. The hotel is beautiful and ideally located to explore the many trekking trails nearby.

SPA was a bit limited, there is no jacuzzi and the sauna was not working when we went there.

Service is provided by a very unexperienced staff which just came out of school (not necessarily a hotelier school)... Insulation of noise is close to none... rooms & corridors especially...

we would have liked to use the grand dining room but not available. Also, the food was not great and a limited choice! However, the Breakfast in the verandah room was very good.

The hotel is located in a charming town that is not touristy, which makes the place even more special. The hotel is spacious and its facilities allow a variety of activities for couples and families with children (Bicycle rental, outdoor and indoor swimming pool, sports bag with fitness equipment). The staff service is out of the ordinary. They are nice and kind and will do everything to make the guests comfortable. There is a restaurant in the hotel. The breakfast there is great! There is ample free parking. There is a magical, authentic and cozy common living room area where you can sit for coffee, read a book, or just enjoy the background music and the atmosphere. The hotel rooms are divided into an older and newer area and the newer area is more recommended.

There are older rooms that face the street sidewalk (low window) and it is less intimate. Because the guests do not feel comfortable opening the window, the rooms are not ventilated and the windows felt as if they had not been opened for a long time and were dusty. I should note that as soon as I asked, they came to clean and ventilate. I would emphasize that these are older rooms but equipped with new and comfortable beds and a renovated bathroom.

Gorgeous hotel, built in a restored palace. It is tastefully renovated, has a pool and a sauna, great breakfast and a really nice restaurant ( we had dinner there after a long day when we did not have time to go anywhere else).

Great design of an old palace. very well adapted and cosy. staff was very helpful !

Great breakfast, comfortable, nice living rooms, very good for families. The palace has a lot of flair and very good used. A few things didn't work fully but the hotel team knows generally about their métier.

The ground floor rooms to the street side are not very nice because of the windows. The bathroom is small. The superior room was not cleaned every day.

Beautiful building, lovely area. Wonderful staff. Attractive restaurant, walking distance to other options. Easy parking. Very nice sauna in the spa. Great soaking tub in the room. Memorable mountain views. The little gratuities like delicious local tea and honey scrub were a nice touch, I felt very pampered.

I couldn’t use the beautiful pool due to excessive chlorine (went in, skin started stinging, got right back out) which was a shame. A saline pool would be a much better option and align better with the emphasis on health. Unfortunately kids running loudly up and down the hall over and over quite late into the night interfered with sleeping! Perhaps there is a kind way to encourage guests to be more considerate?

Beautifully renovated old house with charming staff

My friend and I visited the area for 3 days with my dog. The hotel is beyond amazing and very pet friendly. Every aspect was above my expectations.

Everything was great

Excellent! A large variety of food for breakfast, including gluten free! We also ate at the restaurant. It was also very good. The chef made sure I had great gluten free options. The people at the front desk were also extremely helpful and friendly.

There were rather large stains on the carpet in the hallway which is a small complaint.
