Lovely location and really pleasant, helpful staff

Didn't bother us but no lift and we were 3rd floor and dining room downstairs so may be difficult for those with mobility issues.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly, helpful and approachable. Due to unforeseen circumstances I arrived in the early hours of the morning and the owner stayed up to greet me and let me in. The breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. What stood out for me was how lovely the all staff were and that made my stay very enjoyable.

The location is fantastic, our room looked right over the beach and we could watch the murmurations from there. Convenient to town as well.

Fantastic location on the seafront. Staff were beyond brilliant. Richmond must be a great place to work because they never stopped smiling. A smile makes so much difference. Breakfast was very good.

Room was a good size with wonderful sea view. Breakfast was excellent with good staff. We could leave our car in the car park before we booked in as we arrived early.

The only thing that could be improved was the carpet on the stairs and landings, it was a bit tired looking.

The room was comfortable with a good view of the Prom. Staff very helpful & friendly. Food very good (except for the chips!)

Vegan options available for breakfast. Hotel is in perfect location for sea view - no cars can park right outside the windows meaning no blocked views. The staff were excellent - all so friendly. Helpful and welcoming. Lovely big room and quiet location - had a great nights sleep. Plenty of parking available in car park behind hotel or on the road in front. Short easy walk to everything.

The location is ideal, the staff very welcoming and helpful and the hotel is clean.

We would have liked to have had dinner on the Sunday but the restaurant is closed for the day, probably to give the chef a day off, which we can understand. This probably explains why breakfast on Monday morning was not as good as it had benn on the previous morning.

This was our fourth short stay in Aberystwyth visiting our Granddaughter at the University, each time staying at The Richmond. We love the friendliness of the staff, the excellent breakfasts and, above all, the view of the sea just 30 metres away through the large windows.
