the breakfast is not so good, it was so poor.

The room is clean, and superb. It is a budget hotel but exceeds our expectations. Though the location is far away from the station, and there are only few restaurants nearby. It is still okay.

Super close to the metro. the room was clean and had everything. not very large (didn’t have enough room to open my suitcase on the ground) but I didn’t have that in any of the hotels I stayed at in Japan. so if space is an issue for you, you might want to look at hotels at a higher price point

Walls are thin in Japan. not really an issue but something to be mindfull of.

The room was very small. There was one single bed for 3 people. No extra bed. Breakfast was very limited.

Subway was far away.

- the staff was very pleasant, kind, accommodating - the hotel is a 5 minute walk from Kitahama station exit 5 or Sakaisuji Hommachi station exit 12 - there are a few restaurants and convenience stores nearby - excellent wifi - you can use the washing machine and dryer for free. You just have to buy detergent and dryer sheets from the vending machine - They let me borrow dishes, dishwashing soap, etc - the system of getting your own supply of toiletries and asking for new towels by yourself is a great step towards sustainability - I stayed for one week and it's definitely much cheaper compared to other similar hotels

- cleanliness. The room was poorly maintained. I only showered as I couldn't take a bath because the tub floor was evidently dirty. There were cup marks on the table. There was dust everywhere. - the hall and the room smelled awful when we arrived.

The staff helped us to safekeep our luggage when we arrived early before check in time, and similarly check in proceeded smoothly. Staff were generally well versed in speaking English. The room was relatively big and we liked the microwave and kitchen area.

The soundproofing is not great, could hear guests next door had young children running in the corridors in the morning. Washer and dryer were available but rather frustrating as the power tripped several times, drawing out the waiting time. Location is a little out of the way from the train stations, but there were eateries nearby.

It's good 👍and quiet 🤫hotel in osaka- shi, osaka castle & shopping areas are reachable by 🚕 taxis and train stations, but if you prefer to walk 🚶‍♀️ it can be walkable by 15 to 30 mins depending on the area 😀 you want to go. We save in the hotel expenses but we spend a lot on taxis because we are saving our energies we don't want to walk.

I hate leaving bad reviews but there was so so many poor standards. it needs to be said. upon arrival the room reeked of cigarettes. I was thinking George Burns resided there before me. But instead of walking out and finding other accommodation, I opened window (4oC outside) used up the air freshener they provided and then purchased another air freshener. I then used wipes to clean the walls that were brown with tar. thankfully we only spent sleeping time there. (20 days) bed was very clean but uncomfortable. rooms are Japanese size. no room to access stuff out of your suitcase unless you put it on the bed.(no storage besides 4 hooks on the wall and a desk at the window) bathroom very clean, small with creaky floor but useable with fantastic flow of hot water and deep bathtub. remember to keep door closed during showering, we got woken up at 5am because, we presume, someone left their bathroom door open and set off the fire alarm. oh the alarm voiceover is in Japanese so I had no idea on what was going on. in an actual emergency I would be dead…. Air-conditioner was useless. set to 24oC with no control. useless if your menopausal. the downstairs laundry was a waste of time. 2 wash machines that took over an hour to wash, 2 dryers took same amount of time and unfortunately someone took our washing out of the dryer, still wet, and handed it into reception. good news. a 24 hour laundromat within walking distance has machines that will both wash and dry in an hour. Excellent restaurant service downstairs. repetitive set BUT great service and other food options available. all food tasted terrific. local supermarket (5-10 min walk) main subway 10-15 min walk. laundromat 5 min walk

I appreciate the staff being so polite and accommodating despite the language barrier. It was such a relief that we were allowed to leave our luggages in the hotel lobby while we were waiting for our time to tavel back to the airport.
