The location was fabulous and exciting! Good quality local produce used by our hosts for breakfast and available nearby. The parking was good for our parking brains and only testing because our car is too big for historic nooks and crannies.

DThe location and the breakfast was very good.

There was no daily housekeeping, e.g no replacing dirty cups, topping up tea bags and milk etc.

Breakfast was excellent, the location was perfect for the castle and Cathedral plus load of places to eat and drink.

The breakfast was amazing, cooked to perfection using locally sourced bacon and Lincolnshire sausages. Probably the best I've ever had! The location is excellent, a stones throw from the cathedral, castle and bailgate area. Loved the quirkiness of the old building and the host and staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The car parking was very tight and it was difficult to get in and out.

Paul and his wife were very welcoming from the outset, and Paul parked our large Espace for us in the courtyard. The room was very clean and an extra sheet was provided on request. The breakfast was excellent. The old house is charming. This is just about the best guest house we have ever stayed in. And I haven't even started on the location!

Lovely old building, very tastefully renovated and decorated. Room had a sumptuous feel to it with soft furnishings and nice furniture

The duvet was very heavy for the summer as well as the pillows not very comfortable, no support to them. The toilet kept breaking which had my hubby not be capable of fixing each time would have been very awkward.

Excellent location. Wonderful view of the cathedral from our 2 huge sash windows . Spotlessly clean and we will be recommending it to friends . Great communication from hosts.

A little bit noisy at night but this was to be expected when staying in a city centre whilst England is thrashing Ukraine at football 😃
