Super Lage, tolle Umgebung und nette Gastgeberin. Wer schöne Wanderwege, Almen zum Mittagessen und Freizeitaktivitäten (Mountain GoKart) gleich um die Ecke. Ist einen zweitbesuch Wert.

Schlechtes Wlan ansonsten das bekommen was ich erwartet habe. Gastgeberin hat und Holz für den Ofen und die Feuerschale bereit gestellt.

The place is quiet, clean, dog and family friendly, close to the nature. The owner lives right next door so is always there to help!

The upper bedroom could use a better light.

Nothing relly. Maybe that the kitchen and living room were on the 1sr floor but nothing really bad.

We absolutely loved the place, every bit of it. It’s comfy, romantic and rustic at the same time. Yet it offers everything you need for a memorable stay. It’s surrounded by the most beautiful forests and the mountains. Deborah is a lovely, caring host.

We were a group of 4 adults and 1 dog, and we ALL completely fell in love with Kleine Ahornau. Everything was perfect, right from arrival where the key was left in the door for us. The beds are super comfortable and the duvets felt like clouds. One of the three bedrooms is upstairs, as is one of the bathrooms. This makes it perfect for couples travelling together because it provides privacy. The kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed .... and the view from the kitchen is beautiful. There is a very cosy central fireplace upstairs, and we were well-stocked with wood and firelighters. Access to the upper floor is via a fairly steep staircase, but we all managed (the dog too). Definitely a place to return to.

The wi-fi did not work well, but we were having such a great time, we didn't even really care. So, even the negative ended up being a positive. It was good to have offline time.

Wonderful and cozy cabin where we stayed for a family Christmas getaway. The hosts were accommodating. We loved the surrounding. We felt "in the middle of nowhere" with a ton of beautiful snow and plenty of places to walk and enjoy the scenery. We loved the coziness of the fireplaces especially. We should have planned for more days to soak it all in!

Not a huge problem but there is quite a steep stair case from the bottom to top floors which may be difficult for some. The downstairs bathroom is a bit tricky so that one room must cross through the other bedroom to get to it. It was a bit inconvenient during the night since there was also only a curtain door on the bathroom which was not very quiet or private. Balancing the heating between the radiators and the fireplaces got a bit tricky so that we weren't too cold but also not sweating to death. But these are all only minor issues. We loved our stay anyways!
