We had an absolutely amazing time in Montepulciano and Tuscany thanks to Davide. This property is PERFECT for a small family (we were 5) or group of friends. Beautiful location, very clean, charming, comfortable. Easy access to grocery and town.
Davide (and his father) were VERY gracious hosts. The house is fully appointed with full kitchen and washer/dryer. The view out the window each morning was breathtaking.
We used this as our home base for easy day trips to Montalcino, Siena, Florence/Firenze, Cortona and Assisi. No drive longer than 1.5 hours. And it's easy access to this location from Rome (just under 2 hours).
HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property!

We loved staying at Davide's place. Great location for traveling around Tuscany, beautiful view and very private. Davide was an amazing host and very responsive. We accidentally left some things behind and he made it's very convenient for us to retrieve them. Thanks so much Davide.

Wonderful stay in Montepulciano. The home was ver charming and comfortable. Be prepared for a bit of a hike on the driveway and into the city. Grocery store just a short walk away. Davide was a very gracoius host. We are glad we selected this charming home for our visit to Montepulciano.

Very picturesque and close to the City gates and a supermarket. Good for one couple but a wee bit tight for two couples. This was an excellent place from which to explore Montepulciano as well as the heart of Tuscany. Davide is a great and responsive host !

This rustic beauty provided everything my husband and I needed to finally relax and get away from a hectic work schedule... for those wondering, yes, there was one unfortunate work Zoom call that went perfectly, thanks to the internet connection, which was strongest in the upstairs bedroom, which overlooks the beautiful orchard. This location is in close walking proximity to all the main attractions, restaurants, and services...but far enough so you arent dealing with crowds or noise! Tutto Perfetto! Highly recommend this home and it's very caring & responsive host, Davide. He is a true host! P.S.--walk to Locanda di Godiolo for dinner! Excellent food, wine, and service...and extremely gorgeous, and on the same street!

When beginning to plan our family trip to Italy, it was the photos of Davide’s house that enticed me to choose Montepulciano as our home base. The minute we pulled up to the house, the views took my breath away. The photos of the house are accurate, but the reality of the landscape can not be believed. It is like stepping back in time. You will enjoy immaculate accommodations, modern amenities inside the home, and a picturesque landscape cultivated only by time.
Davide is a helpful, personable host and will make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. I cannot wait fir the day I can return again.

I loved this house. Beautiful inside and outside, and incredible view. Felt like the countryside but only a 10 minute walk to town. Perfect - it's better than the pictures - a historic little home. I will return for sure. Davide was super helpful with local recommendations (don't miss Acquacheta!).

Great location to Montepulciano and within walking distance. But as with everything in Montepulciano, be prepared to walk some hills. The villa was spotless with everything you need for an extended stay. Added bonus was the fireplace! Communication with Davide was excellent.

I cannot say enough good things about this property and host. Davide was amazing and very easy to communicate with, he also provided links for things to do and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. The house was very spacious, clean & had the most amazing view of the town. Location was great as we could easily walk to anything we needed but felt secluded enough we could have some privacy. The house has so much charm & is very beautiful inside, all of the amenities were provided. This would really be a fantastic home base for a longer trip where you took day trips out to other towns.

Great location! 10 minute walk to Montipulciano or you can drive 2 minutes and park at the entrance. Less than an hour drive to Pienza, Cortona, Monticiano, Arezzo. 5 minutes to DEI Winery on our street! Very very clean home. Incredible views!! Next to olive grows and vineyards. Grocery store just up the street. Davide was terrific! He text us multiple times during our stay to check on us. There is a washer and separate dryer. We stayed 17 days and had a wonderful time!!

The stay outside Montepulciano was what we wanted..outside the village but close enough to walk! There were 5, 3 were my daughters and 1 of their friends..absolutely perfect! Walked into the village every day..found fantastic places to eat and walked home in the evenings to enjoy the view and quietness of the Tuscan countryside!!! Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!!!!

This beautiful house was a perfect place to stay in Montepuluciano. Very quiet and private yet within walking distance to the village, restaurants and groceries . We love this area. A perfect place to sit back and enjoy Dolce Vita, or explore wonderful towns like Orvieto, San Gimingamo or Assisi.Davide was more than helpful and welcoming. The bottle of local wine on the table for us was a lovely thought. The house is beautifully restored, spotless clean and has everything you need. Loved our stay here. Thank you Davide.

A wonderful week in Montepulciano! This cosy house is well appointed and is in a fabulous location. Davide was very helpful for the duration of our stay, and we visited his family winery, which was great.

Where to begin! Davide’s house, the town of Montepuciano- all the surrounding towns in gorgeous Tuscany ….,our 4th visit to Tuscany and this was our favorite. This lovely restored house in such a great convenient location to the beautiful Old Town - all the restaurants and shopping, by foot, and surrounding towns easily by car. And Davide was the kindest and most helpful of owners - we had no problems but if we had any questions he answered very quickly. We spent 2 wonderful weeks there and hated to leave. We will be back, Thank you Davide for sharing your beautiful home with us. We all send our best. Deb, Ed, Jenn and Matt !

A beautiful house set in a quiet area 10min walk from the city itself. Davide was a great host - always ready to answer any questions and very helpful.
The house had all the modern conveniences with that rustic feel and beautifully restored. Had some lovely meals in the town.

Delightful tiny house a few steps from Montepulciano.
WIFI, AC, amenities such as washer/dryer, kitchen facilities were all good. Five people getting ready for several nights of wedding festivities and we didn't have any concerns about hot water! We used kitchen for breakfasts and a memorable meal of local goods.
Walked up to the fun Thursday market just a few steps above the place. Young men training for Bravio della Botti on our street! Stairs and driveway are steep, FYI and could be a challenge for those with impaired mobility (or super high heels!).
We didn't meet Davide personally but were able to WhatsApp with him about our stay and any questions.

Easy walk to town, say 10 min to large grocery store. TI office just another 3 minutes. Go to TI to get current info on events in town.
The stairs are steep and narrow. Easy enough for us, but my parents wouldn't like them.
Great assistance in checking in.

This is a fairly rustic stone building that been tastefully renovated. Our group of five fit in the accommodations. The best features were the outside areas. There are several seating and dining areas. The kitchen is quite small but worked for us. We really only cooked one meal that included the BBQ. The site is rather steep if that is a concern. It is situated just outside Montepulciano. There is a short but uphill walk to town. Montepulciano is on a hilltop. The host was very responsive and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. We all loved the serenity the site offers. If mobility is a concern you might look elsewhere. We had no problem even with one who need some walking assistance on hills. I would stay there again.

La Casino Tuscano is a great spot for a holiday
La Casino Tuscano is a rustic treasure with all the conveniences of home. Our host was most accommodating and made excellent recommendations. This farmhouse is in a great spot…. Very walkable to shopping, restaurants and into city center. Also very drivable to other Tuscan towns. We would certainly stay there again and again.

We give La Casina Toscana five stars all the way around.
We stayed 9 days here over our Christmas. It was perfect. The location cannot be beat. There is a grocery store an easy walk away. The town is right there. The views are amazing.
The house was perfect for our family (mom and dad and two young adult "kids"). We had access to restaurants but we also cooked a lot and played cards and worked puzzles on the big kitchen table. We visited vineyards and wine cellars. We drove to Florence. There is easy access to Siena and other Tuscan towns as well.
Davide is a wonderful host - friendly and helpful. We would not change a thing. Thank you for sharing your sweet villa with us.

Perfect location in Tuscany
I've never left a review before for a rental property, but this property was beyond amazing in every sense. I'll admit I didn't do an exhaustive research, but if you are reading this, then you'll probably be more prepared than us. As a family of 5 driving around Tuscany we needed something centric, that would allow us to do day trips without over extensive drives. We did Florence, Siena, Pienza, Montalcino, and of course Montepulciano in 4 days. Longest drive was to Florence at 1:20hrs. Montalcino was 40 minutes, and Montepulciano (city) was 8 minutes walking.
I say perfect location because you can walk to a large supermarket 5' away (CONAD), and get to quite a few good restaurants by walking.
Not driving? No problem, the bus station is a 3' minute walk up the hill.
As a family of 5 with small kids, it was great to have a washer and dryer and two full bathrooms. The views are amazing during the day, and Davide was most gracious answering questions and helping us out figure out logistics about moving around, restaurants, wine stores, wineries, and everything else around the area. He even helped me try to make an appointment to a winery in Montalcino a few weeks before arriving.
I can't recommend this property enough, and I would no doubt return again if I stop by Tuscany.
If you are in the area, don't miss out on Davide's wife Agriturismo (Italy's B&B version) where she can cook a traditional Tuscan dinner for everyone. Beyond amazing.

Amazing
We loved this home. Perfectly placed next to the town where you could walk. The views from the bedroom was like a Tuscan painting. The place was so clean and the owner is lovely. We used all the bits of the house including the fireplace which was such a treat. We cooked and ate out and had coffee in the garden overlooking the stunning view. The bedding was heavenly and you won’t hear a sound at night until you open those windows and voila - what you dream of olive trees, vineyards and Cyprus trees. Look left and there you have a stunning view of Montipulciano. Truly loved it we will be back and recommend this to our friends it ticked all the boxes so glad I found it.

My wife and I had a magnificent stay in Davide's beautiful and well appointed home. The house is lovely and very conveniently located to the main city and walking distance to everything in Montepulciano (main city). Davide was incredibly helpful. He is responsive to emails and came by to check in on us as well. He gave us wonderful recommendations of surrounding towns to see, which we did and were SO happy about (Cortona for one). We would absolutely stay here again and had absolutely no issues or complaints with Davide or the wonderful home he shared with us. Thank you Davide!! Hope to see you again in the not too distant future. Steve and Lynn Rodriguez

First international trip since Covid. What initially appealed to me was that while the house appeared to be in the country, it was a short walk to montepulciano city center. What I did not anticipate was how lovingly restored and charming the house was. Air conditioning in bedrooms, washer dryer and all creature comforts. Davide answered all (and there were a lot!) of my questions and made us dinner reservations and when we arrived he came shortly after to introduce himself and show us how everything works. When I mentioned I brought a Uk converter rather than for Italy he ordered one on Amazon and it was delivered the next day! We also got to meet his lovely girlfriend and adorable daughter. He was full of suggestions which really helped us plan our time well over the week. Assisi was a favorite as was Orvieto. He also recommended Porto di bacco as his favorite restaurant and we met a woman there who helped us arrange 2 fantastic private wine tastings in montalcino. We loved feeling like locals and got to know some folks and chat a bit. Our favorite was coming home
after a long day to sit outside on the terrace and watch the sun go down and watch montepulcoano light up. Aaah. Fantastic owner, comfortable house, walkable to city center and lovely views. We already miss the rooster in the morning. Davide, many thanks for all of your help. This trip came together so quickly and it would never have been so wonderful without all of your help and guidance. We will return without hesitation!

Excellent
Davide was great to work with a web site available showing interesting places to visit. Cottage was excellent, screen doors and windows allowing for fresh Tuscan air to enter. Decorated with may interesting pieces. Nice sitting area on the outside to enjoy a glass of Montepulciano Nobile. Would recommend and would return.

Empfehlenswert!!!
