Stupid Management . When I reached the hotel they told me there was no empty room . I called the manager and he said you can complain about booking .com . They have no idea about hospitality .

Had a weeks work near the airport hence chose this place . Room is as expected just about right for a nights peaceful sleep , Enjoyed my weeks stay without breaking the bank. So had plenty to spare for my touring activities . Tea and light refreshments available at the back yard which could be made much better with clean furniture. Felt the place was under utilized . Staff are very friendly and accomodating to requests if you can communicate with them though . I used pics and google translate to put my requests in Arabic . You can get everything in a walkable distance and not too crowded . Well known eateries like NAser al FAiomy , Raafat , Eltahrir Koshary are nearby. HAve your fill for under $2 from these places ( Dont miss the rice pudding from Eltahiri- its a bliss ). Brought plenty of fresh fruits, Corn and sugarcanes from nearby market. Uber 24 Hours wherever you want to go in under 5 minutes. Also appreciate them for letting me stay till midnight for no extra charges due to my early morning flight. Surroundings are as cultural as you can get and also old churches and mosques nearby for an early morning peace of mind prayers. Go without expecting much and you will enjoy your stay.

I was forced to wait more than half an hour for passport photocopying, as the building was old, there was no light, the bed was bad, and the internet was very bad.

Simple and enough accommodation if you want to sleep near the airport. some people mentioned is not clean but it actually is (sure, the hotel could do with some paint and renovation). the staff was very friendly :)

the plumbing system was noisy but it's normal considering how old is the building.
