The dinner at the restaurant we had to reserve until 5pm but at the end we had to wait for our dinner almost an hour. With the small 2 kids it was so exhausting. After one hour of waiting nobody wanted to eat already. And as “a bonus” the brought a wrong food, at the end even without apologizing told me, that I had an old day menu…Honestly I didn’t have any energy for solving this so I just left it like it was. Also check your bills at the end. The hotel manager charged is 29€ for some “Chanel changes”. What was that? Maybe they counted that since I don’t speak good German they can full me!? Despite of those 2 unpleasant situations everything was fine.

The location is perfectly settled in between the ski resort and Lidl which are a few minutes away. Great Mountain View’s and relaxing feel. Our family enjoyed the indoor heated pool very much. The food is great at breakfast and the rooms are clean with comfortable beds. The staff is very friendly too! Definitely will come back!

Nothing significant really. It would be great to have the restaurant open all day but not a big deal since you can easily drive for 5mins or so to Lidl.

It is a great hotel with very welcoming and helpful staff. the facilities and the room was clean and very comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and the dinner at the restaurant!

The hotel is well decorated, room was pleasant, comfy and had a nice view. Pool and sauna are great, dinner was good and the breakfast was really good and diversified. Free parking. A good choice for staying in Schwarzwald.

Yes the main road is close to the hotel, but with the windows closed, there's no noise. So good isolation.

The convenient was excellent, especially the friendly staff at the frontdesk. We had the luck to get the personal service for breakfast, as it was pretty quiet during the week. Also have to admit, I liked the Christmas Dekoration!

Everything was perfect! A great location to stay for skiing, we had a convenient travel to the lifts, bed was very comfy and the room was quiet. Staff is helpful and friendly.

We had an amazing time! The Christmas spirit was there at 100%:) personel was super nice, breakfast was diverse and good quality. Room seemed to be freshly renovated.

The stuff is very friendly, the dinner was excellent and just tasty. Rooms are pretty quiet and comfortable. Especially I have to say, that I liked the swimming pool

Sweet little hotel with beautiful view of the Black Forest. Room was lovely and comfortable, the coffee and tea service in the room was a lovely addition.

We arrived at 6:30 on a holiday and the restaurant was unfortunately closed, but there were a few places nearby that were open.

Room was very comfortable: new furniture, bathtub, balcony (with the outlook on Feldberg), 4 chairs (for double room), table, so you can even work from the hotel, internet was ok, but when many guests arrived the speed dropped, overall better than on the pics. Parking lot for several cars, including the one with e-charger. Indoor swimming pool is open from 8 am to 10 pm, small sauna (you need to ask personal to switch it 15 mins upfront). They are very friendly with families for kids, who were screaming loud at breakfast and pool, but you do not hear them in room 1 door away. Personal was friendly and helpful, they give you a card for public transport. And we had a complement sekt for my BD :)

Nothing really, minor: pillows could be better (they are super-soft) or more than 1 per person.

All fine, don't expect luxury but a solid hotel. Warm welcome, good choice for breakfast. Friendly staff also very nice with our child.. Pool area was fine too. Nice location with large parking.

Dinner menu prices seemed exaggerated, so we did not even try.

We arrived to check in at 19.05 and were "greeted" at reception by the manager, when we asked about dinner that night he informed us that a table & food must be booked by 17:00 and therefore we could not have dinner that night!! We told him it was unacceptable to treat arriving guests in this way and a loud argument ensued, in front of other guests, resulting in the manager telling us to go find another hotel if we didn't like it!! My friend and I had ridden our motorcycles over 400kms that day and were too tired to argue any more so we went to the room..5 minutes later the phone rang and we were told that someone had cancelled a dinner booking, so we could have a table as long as we were there by 20;00!! It appears that this hotel does have a rule that dinner must be booked by 17:00, but there was no mention of this in any "thankyou for booking" emails received via Booking.com. We suggest that in future Hotel Diana include this information to avoid confrontation with guests arriving after 17:00. Regarding the manager..we recommend that he be sent on customer service training course!!!
