We were traveling with a lot of luggage and had asked for a room on the ground floor, which was arranged. The room was spacious with a sitting area and an outside deck with nice chairs. Also the bathroom was very roomy with good quality towels and little things like a nail polisher. After a long trip, it was good to find a bottle of mineral water free-of-charge in the room. We had an afternoon coffee with home baked pastries.

The acoustics in the main dining room is not for the hearing impaired. We had checked the menu ahead of time and hoped to find a duck, but as the chef explained when he toured the dining room the menu had just been changed. A good size Wienerschnitzel from veal with the classical cucumber/potato salad turned out to be a good second choice

In close vicinity to the Autobahn. Excellent parking facilities close to the room. Surroundings made it very convenient to bring pets (dogs). Staff very accommodating and good English speakers - even to a point where we'd a (delicious) main course that wasn't on the menu. Large and fresh breakfast buffet. Service level in general at a very high level.

Following the above I really have to wreck my brains - the only thing that springs to mind is the the bed was very squeaky. I'll test next time if that was only in the room we stayed in :)

-We did not find the rooms clean enough. The floor was kinda sandy, the beds felt like there were crumbs inside.(room 217,218). And alot of dust underneath the windowseal. -Not enough showergel for a double room. Was used up the 1st night. Housekeeping was in the room the 2nd day but the showergel wasn't refilled. -When we checked in there was no water in our bathrooms. We notified reception and when we came back from swimming, it had been -Extreme too much waiting time in the restaurant to get the Menü, place an order or even have the drinks served.
