We had an enjoyable 2 night stay in Velden at the Hotel Corinthia in early July. It is a charming older property with lots of character. The style is a bit vintage and dated but that adds to the charm. The hosts were very welcoming and made the stay a pleasant experience. This provides a more authentic experience over a typical modern hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was good but the shower could have used a frame to prevent water from coming on to the floor. The rooms did not have air conditioning which is typical for older properties in Austria. This resulted in a bit warmer rooms than desired and opening windows helped but bit of street noise in morning. There was a stand fan in the room which helped a bit too. The breakfast provided was excellent with very fresh local items and great service and taste great. The room price was a bit high but it is a resort area and centrally located. There is a very well stocked wine bar in the hotel and that is worth visiting. We would stay here again and thank the staff and owners for the experience. Vielen Dank!

Price bit high and lack of AC. Could use a bit of work to modernize but appreciate that thins can detract from the charm of an older property. Restaurant could use a bit more selection.

There is an amaising place. The lake, the view, the mountains.....just great!

Staff and wine

Historic and nice hotel with very friendly staff in centre of Velden. Large hotel parking and nice view from rooms. Everything is close from hotel. I recommend this hotel.

Excellent location, 1 min to Casino, less than 1 min to the lake and ~ 10 seconds to the street with bars, restaurants etc. Private parking and extremly gentle staff.

The bathroom. Without having a shower curtain, the bathroom was flooded

Awesome appartment, 84m2, great for our family. Nice forniture and location, awesome views of the lake from many balconies of the apartment.

Other guests. The town isnt really for families, lots of groups of single people, drunk on the beach in the middle of the day, drunk in the lift...

The hotel was beautiful. Enjoyed the authenticity of the building. Really loved the view and the accessibility to the lake.

The location was great…but it is in the middle of the town. As such, traffic is always going and the noise was difficult.

Rooms where great size and the view was beautiful. The only problem was no A/C in the room and it was extremely hot so it was almost impossible to sleep (29C in the room.) Staff was very helpful and took note of the problem and said they are working on a solution.
