Bride- les -bains is a good place to stop on a Friday night as you miss the traffic and can be on the slopes on the Saturday and get an extra day's skiing.

This is my first ever bad review, but I have to say that our room was very cold and damp with a bad smell. When heating started, condensation was an issue as water started running down the walls and the floor got vet. Though heating was on all night, the room never got warm. Floor was freezing as well. Thank God we only stayed there for 1night. Beds are very small and 1very thin and small blanket for two single beds joined together. Electric hob and fridge was not working, no kettle or even a cup! Shower was playing up. Maybe room 705 is the only one with those issues, but we will never go back there especially for this price. Old yogurts for breakfast and so on... it is funny then staff decided not to understand what I was saying in english even when I pointed the date on those yogurts.

Perfect location for getting to the gondola that takes you up to the slopes of Méribel. Very cute and charming hotel and amazing comfortable beds. Breakfast was simple but enough for fueling before a day of skiing.

We didn't use the spa because it seemed excessive to pay an extra €12 pp on top of our nightly stay. The walls and doors are not soundproof, and we heard everything going on (doors slamming, people talking) so had to use a white noise app to sleep at night.

We were unfamiliar with the area as it's our first time there, but we reached the hotel very easily by taxi from the train station, and the hotel was also located right next to the ski lift which brought us up to Meribel where we spent most of the day.

Would have appreciated more amenities in the room, like a hot water kettle and mugs. Also, it is best to eat at Meribel rather than at the hotel.

Everything was great, especially the staff of the hotel! We were welcomed very warmly and got everything we needed during our stay. The room was spacious with a nice view, and it was only 5 min away from the ski lift! Would definitely come back again!
