Town was exceptionally quiet, it was a Saturday night in August and quite a few places were closed

The room was massive with a huge bathroom attached including a bath. It felt like I had booked a suite rather than just a room. Check in was easy, the host was very helpful, friendly and kind. Breakfast was great! I can’t fault the place. So far my favourite place I’ve stayed while hiking the Rheinsteig

The owner was lovely, very helpful and she prepared us a super vegetarian breakfast, The restaurant food was lovely and it was a real treat to stay in such an old classic German hotel.

Very friendly staff ; clean, comfortable bedroom ; superb riverside beer garden.

Although the property was great, there is a problem of noise from night-time freight trains. As this is a common problem in the Rhine valley, one wonders when the authorities will act to protect this beautiful, historically rich, World-famous, heritage tourist area.

Food, staff and location were great.

The rooms are not very sound proof....

What a find! It rained the evening I stayed, so I was unable to sit on the marvellous trerrace on the river bank; however a fantastic, quaint hotel. Superb location for the Rheinsteig and close to the railway station, so an easy commute to Koblenz. I will return again.
