Villa Marie was beautifully situated overlooking the valley below Motovun. We were welcomed with a cool drink and brought to our wonderful room with a balcony. The location couldn’t have been better. Communication was excellent.

The room was lovely…clean and very comfortable. We had a beautiful balcony overlooking the lush, green countryside. So beautiful! Breakfast in the morning was delicious…fresh made croissants, coffee, orange juice, meat and cheese, bread and jam, scrambled eggs and much more. We enjoyed it on our lovely balcony! Perfect way to start the day! Lorena was a lovely host and her husband picked us up when we arrived and then drove us back to where our car was parked when we left. We were disappointed we only stayed the one night.

Everything was perfect!

Nice filling breakfast with cereals, fruits and yogurt. You could have scrambled eggs if you wanted them.

Hosts were very accommodating. Although you can't drive right up to the old town (and wouldn't want to unless you had a 4 wheel drive!), they promptly picked us up and delivered us back to carpark when asked. Comfortable clean room.

Although the hosts kindly welcomed us with a drink, we had to walk a short way down the street to the terrace where there was a limited view. Being that our bedroom faced the road, I guess that the amazing views are from the balcony of a different room.

Lorena catered to our every need, awesome custom breakfasts, perfect location in the cutest hill town we've ever seen. Our room's balcony had a dramatic panoramic view. Highly recommend.

Great customer service. Pick up was smooth and instructions to parking lot was perfect. Welcome drink, close to center of town, did truffle hunt with the owner's son. Big room and great views. All awesome.

Absolutely stunning view. Really nice room with a spacious balcony that overlooks the valley. Appreciated the ride from the free parking lot. Don't refuse this offer as its quite the uphill haul.

The location was beautiful, the host was friendly and the breakfast was delicious and enjoying it on the terrace with the amazing view was the favorite part of our stay. Make sure to try the hosts delicious home made Elderflower drink if you get the chance.

From the room description we were under the impression the terrace was private but in reality we had to share it with another guest.

Marija was an excellent host - very helpful with getting out luggage to the her place from the parking lot outside the pedestrian zone which is reserved for residents only

Location and the view from the property.

When we arrived there was no one there despite arriving at the time I had indicated. The owner had tried to communicate with us but we do not have a phone on and just use wifi and therefore didn’t any message. We went to the wrong room, a simple note have helped. Unlike some of the previous visitors we did not get a free upgrade or transport to the airport. Linen is quite tired.
