We had a great time visiting Possum Kingdom Lake and the property was perfect for the three couples in our group. The private boat ramp made it so ease to launch our kayaks and leave them by the ramp when we were finished with them for the day. The kitchen had everything we needed (except a blender) and we also used the grill for a couple of meals. The location is great. So quiet and peaceful. Spent our evenings playing games or relaxing on the deck. Great getaway!

The 1st day we got there the owner told us one bathroom wasn't working and he would get a plumber and he never did. The hot tub didn't work there was broken furniture, nails on the dock sticking out and the TV and the master bedroom didn't work. The owner watches you on his camera the whole time you're there and has control of the air conditioner he turns it off at night and it gets hot.

Real good location nice and quiet

Our family enjoyed our stay at this property. We had a very relaxed stay. The dock was ideal for fishing for the family. We would recommend this house to others!

I can't say enough good things about this property. The house is great - very clean, very cozy, well appointed with everything we needed and tons of fun things to do - games, hot tub, dvd's, kayaks, swings off the dock! We stayed last summer and loved it so much we returned this year. Great location on the lake with a private boat ramp and dock, as well as a good sized fenced yard for the dogs who LOVE to lay in the grass and watch the goings on on the lake below. Beautiful views, great directions, close to town, only about a 6 minute boat ride to the state park. The hosts are super responsive and helpful. We hope to be back next year!

We had an excellent stay at this property. The house worked perfectly for our group size and the amenities (dock, hot tub, grill, etc.) were great. We did encounter a few minor issues throughout our stay, but each time they were promptly resolved with excellent communication by the property owners. We will definitely be coming back!

There is no signal there to receive the check in code “Minutes before check in” is pretty silly when there is no signal to receive it. The hot-tub does not work despite what the add says. It was a clean really neat property that we really enjoyed once we got over the setbacks.

Wonderful lakefront location, private and easy to find. Our first time to pk and we are looking forward to returning. The house was well appointed with everything you could need and very nice.

My husband and I had an amazing weekend get away with our adult children and our three newly adopted children. There was something for everyone and the overall opinion was that we had the best time of our lives. The view was incredible and the home had everything we needed, even great spices for our grilled steak and chicken. They also had aloe vera gel that came in very handy when one of my daughters stayed outside a little too long in the sun. Thank you so much to the owners and we plan to return soon for another great weekend.

We had 5 family members (all adults) and one small dog during our stay to celebrate Thanksgiving. The weather was very cooperative, we actually got out on the lake twice by canoe (which was provided) and by boat (which we rented). We enjoyed the fire pit every night (the owners graciously supplied all the wood and kindling we needed). We also enjoyed the hot tub-nice and big and clean-perfect for the chilly nights. The house itself was roomy-we especially enjoyed having 3 potties. Kitchen was big and well stocked, living room comfy, beds comfortable. But all of that, as wonderful as they were, paled in comparison to the view onto the lake! It is gorgeous!! The house sits in a rustic, off the beaten path area and located more towards the end of the water (so I think even during the busy months, it would be not as busy on the lake). We had a great time. Check out the State Park for hiking and the city of Graham for eating out and shopping. The owners were very easy to work with. Be aware, this home is located kinda in the middle of nowhere and cell service is not easily accessible (although they do have wi-fi in the house) but it was all well worth it to stay here.

Great place to stay, especially for multiple couples or a family. Very outdoorsy, right on the water, with fishing and kayaking readily available. The place was spotless when we arrived. Great communication with the owner, prompt responses to any inquiries.

I grew up in this area and enjoyed coming back. The house is perfect with a gorgeous view. The house is set up perfectly for people bringing a boat with a private ramp and dock. The house has every you could need. No complaints.

This property has one of the most beautiful views I have ever stayed at. The morning sunrise and evening sunset over the lake from the dock or the patio is phenomenal. I read reviews about it being hot, but the temps outside were high 90's and we never had to change the settings off the 72 degrees and the house was more than cool enough for all of us. Ample space and the open concept living and dining area as well as the enclosed porch with large glass windows to see out made it an awesome experience. We will definitely plan another trip to this location. Only thing that might be an issue is the gravel road to get back to the hidden gem is a little rough if you drive a low to the ground vehicle. But still managable. :-)

There is tons of space at this lake house but unfortunately for us one of the A/C’s didn’t work from day one and the owner controlled the other one through nest. The unit that didn’t work was the unit that controlled all the common areas and it was hot so our family retreated to bedrooms. Very disappointing. First time we ever left a vacation early. Also, if you bring a boat pull it out of the water. You don’t use the slip, you use the dock which is wood and wind or wakes from other boats beat your boat up. The rings they show you can not use because they are behind the boat and with the owner’s boat there you can’t get to them. The A/C not working in the room with all the windows in 100+ weather was the worst because we didn’t get the family time we needed.

You’ll be off the beaten track but at a really wonderful lakeside home. Swimming off the dock daily made the week a great tine.

If you need a break from the rigor of your daily life this is the place to go and enjoy the quiet and refuel as a family! Disconnect from technology and read a book on the dock swing! Or just enjoy floating and jumping of the dock to create a splash! We travel every year to PK but this year was different with a new dog. Our puppy even enjoyed jumping off the dock! Owners are very communicative and leave no questions unanswered!

This property exceeded our expectations and was perfect for our family. The house was clean as well as the porches and dock. The view of the lake from the family room can’t be beat and we will definitely stay here again.

Our family had an excellent stay at Paradise at PK! The house was as advertised and worked perfectly for our family. The owner did a great job communicating with us throughout our stay as we had any issues or questions. Would highly recommend and will stay again!

The house was spacious and well equipped with everything we would have ever needed. We loved spending part of the day just swimming off the dock and taking in the views.

Our stay was nice being with family, due to all the rain the lake was very dirty so the fish where not biting wished there had been lights at the docks. The grass was overgrown due to all the rain. The only thing I seen we needed at the house was a wit mop of some kind to keep floor clean in case a spells. Over all it was a nice stay. Plenty of room, wish more could have stayed

Our family - including 5 yr old daughter and small dog - stayed at this property in late May and we had a wonderful time. It's a picturesque spot and comfortable house with everything we needed, plus the fenced in yard was great for our pup. The private boat ramp and dock was extremely convenient as well if you have a boat. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had, and didn't micromanage at all. We would definitely consider staying here again for our next trip to Possum Kingdom. Just two things to mention to any future guests - 1) cell and wifi service is pretty spotty so plan to leave your work at home! :) 2) the side of the boat dock where guests dock is exposed to the wind - not a big deal but we recommend having a good anchor to help keep your boat from potentially knocking into the dock on rough day.

What a wonderful place to get away! We were looking for somewhere to relax, enjoy family, fish, and just generally escape, and this absolutely delivered! Right on the water with gorgeous views, we enjoyed the patio, the private boat ramp, the use of the dock, and a fenced area for the dogs. Perfect lake access and just so easy made it fun for everyone. The home itself has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and plenty of space to relax, read, play games, cook, eat, spread out, enjoy the views, etc. We hope to be back again next year!

Had a great time. Caught a bunch of small bass, catch and release. Tons of fun. Loved that walk up from the lake. Bum burner. Great weather, not too hot, not too cold. We'll be back.

Great place to get away for a few days. Great location on the water.

Place was very clean and it had just what we needed for a long weekend. Fire pit was very nice and enjoyable. Very nice house and area. Really appreciated the fenced in yard for the dogs.
