Relaxing stay.

Nice unit, limited A/C - only in the living and room areas. Small kitchen but it worked for us. Very small secondary bedrooms and bathroom.

We had a GREAT stay in this unit for a 4 day VT getaway (2 adults and 2 kids - ages 6 and 9). The location is close to it all but tucked away to feel private. Beware of bears!!! There was a bear next to our car just as soon as we finished unpacking - made for a cool "VT Moment." Indoor pool was clean and just a walk up the hill - kids were crushed we couldn't swim the first night because we got there after the front office closed (you get the code there) but they made up for it in future days. I loved the front covered porch - great relief from the heat! There were several fans available and minisplit system kept the whole place cool and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked (though counter space was slim) and appliances all worked great. Took a few mins to call up hot water but once it came temp was perfect for showers! Unit was clean and well organized. It is advertised to have games and cards but there were only a few puzzles. My kids were pretty bummed because we didn't bring any games for that reason but there's so much do to in Stowe it all worked out! Primary bed is super comfortable, plenty of room for us all. I think next year we'll head to another location in VT but I've already recommended this place to some friends!

This was a well kept space where the hosts made every effort to provide everything you would need to have a comfortable stay. There were plenty of towels, paper goods, dishes, pans and kitchen needs. There even is a washer/dryer combo in the unit. There is a large deck with a great view. We enjoyed being there.

Good location, comfortable and clean. Kitchen was well equiped with everything you need. Plenty of towels for all of us. Really comfortable beds. Quick responses to two little issues we had.

The location was very good for us with excellent access to food, entertainment and beautiful fall colors.
The condo is tired and needs some work. One of the showers did not work and it looks like even if it did water would be getting behind the diverter into the wall. The heater in the second bathroom did not work.
The heater in the living room did not work. We got the pilot going but it never responded to calls from the thermostat.
The walls need repair and painting and the carpets look very dirty and either need a good deep cleaning or replacement.
The “grill” is an open grill that needs charcoal and a lighter (fluid or a starter). Staying there for 3 nights we were not going to buy all of that. I would say that “grill” is useless for most people.
The unit is on the top floor ( which is only a few steps up from the parking lot).There is a good view and the neighborhood is very quiet. With good weather the balcony is spectacular.
With some work and replacement of living room furniture this could be a very nice condo for a small family or two couples. One of the three bedrooms is very small but would work for two children.
Vacasa never responded to the heating issue. I told them we would live with it, but that they should check it out between rentals.

The location ten minutes from Stowe mountain and a few minutes to Stowe itself was very good. The place was very clean when we arrived, with the exception of a shower curtain that needs replacing. The accommodations were as advertised. There were a couple issues. We only managed to get the gas fire place lit one day out of four. It just would not light another time and we gave it several serious efforts (reading directions, getting more info online). The coffee maker did not have a coffee pot. I texted Vacasa to request one and my request was acknowledged, however, a coffee pot never arrived, with 3 days left in our visit. The water pressure in the showers was a little low, as other reviews stated, but time to get how water was OK. However, the master bath plumbing to shift water from faucet to shower head doesn't work well (need replacing) and that made showing difficult. It was a nice place and would have gotten an unqualified positive review, without these issues.

Primary bathroom had a hole in the wall of the shower, making it unusable. The pullout sofa was broken, so we did not have sleeping for 8 as the listing stated. The unit was not cleaned properly. Communication with Vacasa was awful. I would never rent with them again.

Excellent for a small group gathering for a ski weekend. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked in terms of appliances.

Beds were comfortable, nice views of the mountains from the two decks. In order to get hot water you must run the water several minutes. Master bathroom shower was unusable. Water only trickles out even after the maintenance crew installed a new shower head. All six of us had to share the TINY shower in the second bathroom. Washing machine was completely inoperable. A quick wash took FOUR HOURS to complete and NEVER dried the clothes. Upon arrival we found a bad leak under the kitchen sink that was VIAL. There was a drink pitcher catching all the dark, murky water. Not sure how long the it had been going on but the prior renters or the cleaning crew had to have noticed it and put the pitcher there. Maintenance crews did fix it after a few visits to our rental. Rental did not come equipped with household items that are normally in other rentals. Bring your own cleaner, ziplocks, tin foil, paper goods, dish towels, Tupperware, etc. There were only three dishwasher tablets for a week long stay. Overall the rental was in a great location in Stowe and made it easy to get to hiking trails, shopping, restaurants, etc. If you choose to rent this unit, come PREPARED!

Nice stay in Vermont
The appartment is nice. Spacious and has a nice deck. The problem with hot water , mentioned in other reviews, still remains. Especially in the master bedroom it takes a long time to get a tiny bit of hot water. Also the appartment needs some repairs: the parasol on the deck, the bug screen at a bedroom. Also one of deck chairs collapsed ( missing screws, but we found them) causing her to hit her head hard on the deck. This said overall we loved staying her.

Awful
We ended up leaving early after we discovered a broken umbrella on the deck, broken deck furniture, broken curtains, broken screens on the windows, and broken smoke detector. There is NO hot water. The towels were as thin as you could see threw. We walked in to the temp being almost 80, a smoke detector going off, and non of the lights or TV was operational. I honestly can’t believe this place is available for rent and that we paid for this. We ended up coming home early after messaging and calling for help. We finally got a call back on the fourth day of our stay but had left already. I wish I could add pictures to describe the how bad it was. I rented it for the deck and nothing operated on the deck and the 4 large flower pots all had dead flowers in it.

This is great!
I love this property, well located, clean, comfy however, the reason for only 3 stars overall was the showers... one of them never had hot water, the other one, could not be regulated to decent temperature and was burning hot... we managed and figured that for 2 days, we can manage but it was an inconvenience, I called the Vacasa so it will be fixed for the next guest... hopefully they get it done

Nice, but…
The location is great, and the condo well appointed. For those that care, cookware was much better than is usually provided at rentals. Also made use of the kitchen herbs growing on the back porch. The shared pool an hot tub were nice.
But… there really isn’t much water pressure, especially in the master bathroom. Hot water is slow in coming (10 or 15 minutes) and fleeting. This has been mentioned by several other reviewers, so I was mentally prepared. It did make getting a full, warm shower at the next place we stayed really enjoyable.

Great Place in Stowe
This is a great stay in Stowe. The apartment is well appointed and clean. It's clearly used by a happy loving family. It's close to many activities in the area. The balcony is beautiful and when we stayed there planters held many flowers and herbs. One issue though is that the water pressure is very low because it's gravity fed. All in all we had a nice stay and I'd recommend it.

Overall the property is functional for a long weekend, but not more than 2-3 people. The master shower and sink wasn’t operable. Water trickled from the sink and shower and no hot water. The other shower and sinks in the unit were fine.

House can use some upgrades on beds. Warm water takes times but it still worked as it was summer time. Home has just 1 AC in living room so can get warm in rooms for sure.

Mountain side ( great views) location
This property is a great location. Great views, near bike trails, and dining. There was an issue with the hot water taking incredible long for showers. The management was able to get a Plummer in to fix master shower— but it was day 6 of our week vacation. It was resolved for remaining day.

Do not rent this unit
DO NOT rent this unit! It doesn't matter that it is attractive/clean and in a good location - it has LIMITED hot water and NO water pressure. The first 24 hours we went without hot water in the showers. After being advised to turn on every water faucet in the condo and leave them to run for 15 minutes to gain temperature and pressure - we could only work up to a small stream of hot water in which to bath. Samuel the nice responsive property manager did his best, but this unit has structural water issues and is not habitable (for anyone looking to get clean) especially in the winter months. Vermont's own Bernie Sanders would NOT be happy with the amount of water wasted in order to achieve a small stream of hot water. And do not contemplate washing your hair!

Mini vacay
My family and I did a little mini getaway to get out of NY for a few days. There were 5 adults and one toddler. The apartment was more than enough for us. It matched the description on the website. We were very comfortable. No major complaints other than for those who love very hot showers you sometimes need to let the water run for sometime before it really warms up. But still worth the stay.

We'd stay again
We had a few hiccups when we checked in. The drain in the kitchen was not attached. This was resolved the next morning. We also had no hot water. This took about 36 hours to resolve. The property manager was very good and readily available.
Despite the few little problems, we would definitely stay here again. It's exactly like the pictures. It's clean and roomy.
The view from the deck is amazing.
We like craft beer. The Alchemist is so close. Ideltyme is right around the corner and von Trapp is a 5 min ride.
