Her house is very conveniently located in the center of Donegal. There was a lot of room if you didn’t mind taking the stairs down to the kitchen and lower living room.

The beds and couches were uncomfortable

The location is great. The more recently decorated rooms are very nicely done. The house had everything you'd need for a short stay. Patricia responded quickly to any queries.

This is absolutely not a three bedroom house with two living rooms. It is a two bedroomed house with two living rooms, one of which has a sofa bed. We chose this accommodation because it claimed to have three bedrooms. We were disappointed to arrive and find that the third 'bedroom' was a living room and we had to figure out how to make up the sofa bed ourselves. This house is not suitable for anyone very tall, or claustrophobic. The more traditional downstairs part of the cottage is dark and the ceilings are very low. I'm only 180cm but I banged my head twice going down the stairs to the living room. It's not a big deal, just a feature of the house but should probably be flagged. This house is not suitable for anyone who is a light sleeper. The house is on the main street and as the sleeping accommodation is at street level it was pretty noisy because of passing traffic. The traffic noise started really early in the morning too so none of us slept beyond 6am either day we stayed.

loved the location , very near everything, pretty little house, very cosy, I only had the pleasure of staying for a few hours, but I will go back for a longer stay in the future

Nice cozy atmosphere in a old, recently revamped, cottage. Perfect balance between antiques and modern amenities. Surprisingly big. Perfect location for visiting the old town. Walking distance.

With some minor adjustments it will be the perfect weekend getaway spot in the centre of Donegal. It was difficult to find the cottage. Better instructions or improved address / GPS location will be grand.

The property is in an excellent location and has ample space for 6 people.

The property is over 2 floors - bedrooms at ground level and living space at basement level. The stairs are narrow and a little unsafe for older people. Doesn’t help that the light on the stairs wasn’t working. A number of lights were out throughout the property. I found the bathroom leading to the living room strange and there was no lock on the bathroom door. The down stairs area smelled very strongly of damp which remained for our entire stay. There was a large patch of mould in the kitchen just beside the bathroom. There was only one key for the property so our group of six stayed together to ensure we could gain access. An additional key would make a big difference. There was quite a bit of dirt in the sofa downstairs. I felt paying over £700 was excessive for 4 nights in the conditions we stayed in.

The location is perfect, only a few minute walk from Donegal Town centre. The house has everything you need in terms of facilities.
