Reception staff and restaurant staff were very nice and helpfull

The location was ok

We were made to pay extra money for having a pet and for parking. This was not mentioned in the booking offer. The ladies at reception were disorganized and not very friendly as they were unhappy we booked the room via booking and not agreed to their offer at reception (it looked like they were trying to come up with ways of getting more money from us by asking us to pay for or dog and parking). The room was very humid and hot.

The only thing is that it's being close to the Castle, very close. Breakfast was ok, quality on the low side.

It's dirty, old, uncomfortable, stupid, dirty bathroom, awful douche and sink that spill water...

The headline grabbing "All inclusive, free pool access" is actually not a true reflection of the reality, ok i appreciate that the summer season "officially" ended on 15/09 but that is no reason to close everything without prior notice.1/ the pool was out of bounds, not maintained and the water was beginning to discolour. 2/No breakfast available although option offered on Booking.com, 3/No Bar or Restaurant. Infact i was the only guest that night so i presume they "shut up shop and went home". Luckily there is another Hotel 20mtrs away and i used their facilities that evening and also breakfast. The only saving grace for the Hotel is that it's a stone's throw from the Palace and Gardens which is Balchik's most popular tourist attraction and offers free parking to guests This Hotel requires updating, both in facilities and attitude to guest's needs.

Rooms are basic and need refreshing/updating!

Breakfast was very good, serving staff kind and polite. Could do with some variation in menu.

Location is not great, the stairs leading to sea are quite steep and need cleaning and major repairs. Pool has good size and kept nicely clean.

Good location. Stairs to the beach ( narrow steps and no lights in the evening ). Swimming pool was clean and very nice with a little pool bar. Great breakfast with good variety.

Interior of the hotel was very outdated. Great value for money. could do better on bed linen.
