Central location very close to ‘Nippombashi’ Metro station and Kintetsu railway line station. Also in the neighbourhood are some of the most popular okonomiyaki places in Osaka (expect to join a LONG queue though!) as well as a dizzying range of other eateries, while the Shinsaibashi shopping area and the various ‘Namba’ railway stations are also within a reasonably short walking distance. Front desk staff speak very good English. Laundry with 2 washing machines and 2 dryers, all coin-operated, was a godsend! The laundry wasn’t very busy during my stay so I never had to wait. If you ever wonder why there is a kettle and mugs in your room but no teabags, please note the laundry is where you find tea and coffee, as well as a microwave oven to heat up ‘ready to eat’ dinners bought from convenient stores.

Nothing major, but several small issues, such as patchy staff presence at the reception and no instruction on how to find staff for assistance even during core business hours. Useful tip (which I found out after asking a staff member who made a rare appearance at one point): you could knock on the door with the 'no entry' sign (which is apparently the staff room), if required. On the whole, their reception area doesn’t feel very welcoming, with nowhere for guests to sit down, which is not very helpful if, after checking out by the designated time, you still need to hang around in the relative privacy of the hotel to sort out any urgent issues (eg if your airline has mysteriously cancelled your booking for your return flight, which is not uncommon these days!). A couple of other things also seem odd, although they didn’t impact on my stay, eg shower caps are not included in the toiletries basket, while clean towels in plastic bags are left outside the rooms along the corridor every day, not very environmentally conscious and quite unsightly.

Great location, super close walk to main attractions. Clean and has a nice rooftop, and super comfy bed.

The is not staff station at the hotel lobby counter all the time, they will only appear after your stand there and look for them for few minutes.

Was a bit dusty and well, avoid using the safe! Friend had a scare as she couldn't open the safe to retrieve some things she had placed in there...thankfully the staff came to our rescue and helped to open it. It was pretty late too so we are thankful for his help. ;) still the safe was quite a scare😅😨
