If they had met us halfway, we could have said that we liked the hotel staff, but this did not happen.
Unfortunately, we cannot leave an objective review because the hotel was booked and paid for in error, and when we tried to negotiate at least, we were ignored. We were looking for a hotel in the city of Carmel on the booking.com website, and after searching, the site gave us a list of hotels in this city. A few hours later, we realized that this is a completely different city of Carmel and is located in a different state, and we ourselves live in California and were looking for a hotel in the city of Carmel, which is located in California. The website booking.com writes that it also tried to contact the hotel, but the hotel is silent. Unfortunately, the hotel ignores its potential clients and does not negotiate.

I stay in a lot of hotels in the Carmel and Indianapolis area. Hotel Carmichael is a step above your regular luxury hotel experience. Every detail is impeccably considered and attended to. It’s just really nice to stay somewhere when the staff is so invested in doing an excellent job. That sense of pride just shines through to the guest,
I loved every single thing about this hotel. The room was extremely clean, neat, organized. The dining experience at breakfast was perfect and the food was delicious. Loved the shower with options for massage strength and style.

Beautiful hotel, clean and super friendly staff. Was right next to the German Christmas market, walk out the door of the hotel into the market, no driving involved and could go back and forth easily. Delicious breakfast at Vivante.

Breakfast in Vivante, the hotel restaurant, was delicious! Exceptional Bloody Mary and perfectly done Eggs Benedict. Also outstanding cocktails and service in the lobby bar.

Great location, next to the Performing Arts Center. I was in town for the Natalie Merchant concert.
No food service, even in the bar, after 10:00. So, concert attendees were unable to get even a bite.

Beautifully decorated and very clean. The shower was huge. Feels like you are in a very expensive hotel but at a reasonable rate. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is complimentary parking, but you have to be lucky to find an open spot.
Google Maps takes you to the back of the hotel. It is difficult to find the entrance to the front of the hotel. Breakfast is offered as a room service meal and was overcooked. This charge is added to your bill. There is no other option for breakfast unless you leave the hotel.

The location! My favorite area in Carmel.
Shampoo the carpets in the room. Our room had rather large spots most likely from drinks spilled, on one section of the floor, between the bed and wall entertainment/shelved area. Made me think the whole floor was dirty! Fine hotels would have had that cleaned!

The hotel is beautifully decorated and clean, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is also excellent within Carmel.
Everything promised was delivered. If I had to suggest something that would make the place even better, it would be a pool or a jacuzzi. BTW, the gym is excellent.
