Communication was excellent as we're the Caretakers really went out of his way, we even had a welcome visit which was a lovely touch. We had a problem with the TV he bought a new one. Connection isn't great but we weren't on holiday to watch TV just a rainy day. Instructions were given on how to use appliances. The towels and bedding were washed beautifully and smelt amazing. Loved the fire the bath and shower. Cottage lovely and warm.

For us we would have preferred to have been abit closer to town. That's not to take anything away from the beautiful cottage just our personal preference. Walk into town a beautiful one 15-20 tops downhill. Coming back uphill hard for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Didn't find the garden but I could have asked. A few wasps found their way in but we were made away of this it didn't ruin our stay.

We loved our stay in this clean and large cottage. Great location for driving to beaches and other attractions and yet very quiet rural location with plenty of local wildlife (spotting roe deer from the kitchen window!). Beds were also lovely!

A few other reviews mentioned the sofa's, we didn't find them uncomfortable.

Nice, quiet location.

Terrible experience with cottages.com who contacted me after I had made the reservation with booking.com. They wanted an extra £30 on the price given by booking.com. I thought I had everything arranged when I made the reservation through booking.com but ended up having to deal with cottages,com. They were pretty derogatory about booking,com and I would not have continued had booking.com not had a 50% cancellation charge. I felt that I was trapped into having to agree to the extra charge and endure the rudeness of the first operator at cottages.com.

Beautiful setting & extremely cosy

Need a shower over the bath in the 2nd bathroom.

Wine and milk on arrival. Lots of information about the area.
