Room was nice

Felt cost was higher than other hotels nearby without getting anything added. Also first time i ever had a $100 dollar hold on card when checked in for damage or incidentals. Hopefully that was not charged. Also no swimming in lake near hotel.

La propreté est a revoir, service très inégal. Le menage des chambres consiste a faire le lit quand ils y pensent et vider les poubelles. Pas d’aspirateur ni de poussière de faite ni nettoyage des cabines de douche. Le sol de la piscine sal dès le matin, même en tongues cela ne donne pas envie.

The property had everything going for it. It’s right on the water. It’s easy access to the town.

The property can only be as good as the people running it. Right from the start you could see there there wasn’t someone watching over the details. We arrived, no one offer assistance with our luggage. A dead flower arrangement was on display in the lobby. The next morning the water in the entire hotel and restaurant had been turned off. We couldn’t take a shower or bath and had to go have breakfast in another hotel. The staff acted like this was a typical experience. It was stunning. Another hotel would be offering to comp the room, would have made arrangements, would have been tripping over themselves to apologize for the inconvenience. Not here. Nothing. I honestly wanted a refund for the whole stay. The rooms were dreadful and depressing. Horrible inexpensive vinyl covered furniture, little art of decoration. Nothing warm. Nothing pleasant. The bathroom had these awful motion detectors that would come on in the middle of the night when you get up in your sleep. It was dreadful.

The hallway smelled like marijuana . They should put no smoking anything signs up or have sensors that go off when people smoke weed,

Great location, excellent facilities, wonderful full breakfast with lots of options; wished I had booked for longer. Will definitely return.

As instalações são ótimas, muito limpo e confortável. Tem uma vista linda e uma piscina térmica que as crianças adoram, além de sala de fitness. Fácil de estacionar. Restaurante no Hotel.

A água da piscina ou era muito quente (da hidromassagem) ou muito fria (da piscina) e o local era muito barulhento (se tivesse crianças na piscina). O restaurante do café da manhã parecia um pouco abandonado, talvez porque baixa estação. Mas fomos muito bem atendidos. A cidade de Saranac não tem muitas atrações. Mas fica perto de Lake Placid.

Location, clean product, great bar and extremely kind staff.

We were 4 in the room. The toiletries weren’t sufficient for all. But we did not bother asking either.
