It was ok - just ok

Lift didn’t work

The location is great, very close to some supermarkets and close enough to the central plaza. Well clean, with air conditioning, though it was hot outside when I arrived and never really needed it. Curious decoration in an otherwise spartan room.

The first impression is: what is this smell? It's the stale odour of a bathroom whose air isn't renewed in years - which is so cramped that you can't even sit straight on the toilet because the lavatory is in the way. You stop sensing the smell after some time while you're inside and you notice it again when you return to the room. The walls are paper thin and they didn't help disguise the guests who decided to watch a late night program on TV (until 2am) nor the guests who decided to listen to some religious prayers. No instructions were given to keep quiet and reception is empty at that hour so to complain to someone you'd need to give them a call, which I didn't. Worst of all is the bed: small, unstable and with a hyper thin mattress.

The location was central. It was clean and communication was easy.

The door was difficult to lock and the walls were a bit thin, but not majorly.

Wifi didnt work, room was bad smelling and quite ugly even for a 2 stars hotel
