The hotel location is good

The room is too small and there was no lift

Good continantal breakfast with good coffee. Staff very friendly , kind and knowlegable

Location was great !! the view from the room was nice ..mountains in in back of the town square..They did bring us a hot water kettle on request. Beds were comfy.

Very loud...The chapel bells rang every night at least ten times, and would wake us up >>even with the windows closed ..very low ceilings..Very small room. Very basic breakfast.. no eggs ..traditional European.

The staff is very friendly and help you with everything you need.

Expensive hotel, in line with Appenzell. I think the services are not up to the price.

Great staff !! delicious breakfast excellent food in the restaurant We have been to the restaurant many times, but never to the hotel. We will be back for sure.

On the weekend we stayed there, there was an open air at the Postplatz, which we didn't know about. The music was rather loud and due to the proximity it could be heard until late at night. Of course, this is not the hotel's fault. However, it would have been great if there had been a short information in the booking confirmation about the happening, so we would have been prepared for it. But even so, it was not really a problem.

Right in the centre of town and a reasonable short walk to the train station. Room was small but comfortable. Breakfast was good. Appenzeller cheese is great!

Rooms only accessible by stairs. Not a problem for me, but something to consider.
