El personal fue muy amable, fuimos por el cumpleaños de mi hermana y ellos nos ayudaron a decorar su habitación y tambien nos ayudaron encargando un pastel para ella. Se portaron super con todo. La plaza de comidas que queda al lado del hotel ofrece diferentes platos para todos los gustos y tambien hay un par de restaurantes en la playa a los que se puede ir caminando.
El hotel no esta frente al mar y no tiene piscina propia, sin embargo para ir al mal hay que caminar 3 minutos solamente y con el tema de la piscina se puede utilizar la del otro hotel que tambien queda en la propiedad.

Las habitaciones son amplias, cómodas, con todo lo que se necesita para hacer de la estadía una buena experiencia, la limpieza en general del hotel es aceptable, cuenta con excelente ubicación, adicional tiene una plaza comercial en donde puedes adquirir desde comida hasta souvenirs, un extra, el personal del Hotel te ayudan a coordinar actividades como visitas a los delfines y otras. EXCELENTE.
Que no accedieron a darnos desayuno después de las 10am, sabiendo ellos que fuimos a una actividad fuera del Hotel.

The room was beautifully decorated. Good sturdy king size bed with a seating area/ couch that can be used as a third sleeping area. Spacious closet space. Wonderfully large shower area. Water was look warm but refreshing! The house staff changed towels when needed. Front desk staff were excellent and helpful. Orris and Etter, were excellent and on time in picking us up and dropping us off at the Airport!
Inhouse Breakfast was sumptuous and delicious. The little restaurants in the adjoining area were excellent! Food was delicious and fresh! The beach was absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. Staff and Security were attentive and informative.
I highly recommend La Placita Inn. A great bargain for the money!!
It wud be great if they had a free shuttle to and from the Airport.

Great location. The pool and beach chairs available for use at the hotel next door were really nice, that part of the beach was not crowded and was beautiful.

Loud music from the parking lot bar behind the property went until midnight on Sunday.
we enjoyed the local music on the plaza, but the bar music was just noise and should be stopped at a reasonable time.

I’ve stayed at four places in Roatan now and Placita was my second favourite. It has an excellent location close to the beach, staff were helpful, pool was good and breakfast was good. Room was beautiful, spacious and clean. TV was huge with Netflix. Good Wifi.

You can arrange transportation to and from the airport with the hotel ($25 USD).

The hotel is new & modern.
They have smart TV, so you can watch Netflix & Prime.
They provide filtered drinking water.
My room was overlooking a small restaurants & shops.
I would suggest having a place to hang wet swimsuits.
Note: they have music on until 9:30 pm. We have asked to turn it down once. It was done immediately. However, it depends where your room is located. You might not be disturbed by it.
Also, they have some rooms close to a pub. I would suggest double checking a noise level before booking a room, if that is a concern to you.

I love the location and price. Amenities look like new! Beds were very nice, and rooms are nice as well.
I didn't like the cleaning staff, bit rude and felt like they could use a vacum to clean sand in rooms.

Location, location, location. La Placita Inn is in the middle of West Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches we've ever seen. The Inn is modest. It's not a high end property, but it is a very clean and comfortable property with an incredible staff that goes above and beyond. Our room was spacious, very clean and had an updated bathroom/shower which was wonderful. The bed was comfortable and we had no issues with the heat or humidity with the AC and fan. Very comfortable. There are much nicer properties on the beach in West Bay, but for the money, La Placita Inn more than delivered and the staff was fantastic. Highly recommend La Placita Inn.
Honestly, hard to say. We had some confusion with our airport pick up but that was as much me as it was the Inn. I'm being picky so I'd say there was nothing we didn't like.

i liked the location of the hotel. Steps away from the beach and right next to the multiple restaurants and stores in the plaza. enjoyed the beach chairs and pool access.
if you’re a light sleeper, there will be music playing until about 10 pm on the weekends. I didn’t mind because I sleep late.

overall a budget friendly hotel
the ceiling showers are not ideal, there should be another option on the wall for guests who doesn’t want to get their hair wet. there should be a microwave in the rooms. the roads got flooded and you literally had to walk through the dirty water. there needs to be drainage and the road should be cemented

Affordable place and the location is fantastic! 100% recommended!
The only detail I didn't like was one of the staff members from the bistro, he was a bit rude... but other than that the people on the front desk were amazing!
