I liked nothing about my time there. The location had no restaurants nor shops. My room was full of ants and bugs and it was not even cleaned. The horst was so kind and he helped me in everything i asked but it is totally unexpected to find such a dirty room to be hired.

I had the reservation with the right to change the date and the hotel denied the possibility of change, even when during these dates there were a huge festival in Cartagena and all the hotels were sold out

Oasis in a peaceful area, Beautiful garden.

The house with the garden and the pool are so peaceful. Lovely and loving hosts with their rescue dogs. A wonderful stay for peace and happiness.

Comfortable 3 night stay, we took advantage of meals as it is a few miles to nearest restaurant, we were well fed and also had shared use of a small kitchen. There is a shared lounge with full English TV possible. Dan and Viv are lovely and we met their dogs on request(they are not allowed in guest part of the property). The yoga,pilates and mosaic classes look very interesting and I would love to try at a later date if I am able. The property is called Tara's Retreat and it was. This is a guest house, bedrooms are off the lounge / dining room. The ensuite toilet and shower and built in wardrobe is tactically situated between the rooms and consideration is requested after 10pm for other guests. We slept like babies in the massive king double bed which could be separated on request into 2 singles. The mattress was so comfortable and the bedding was layers of covers that meant you could adjust to suit. Dan sent links for places to visit via what's app . We visited Cartagena, Mazerrón, Batería de Castillitos, Murciá Cathedral and Casino.

Everything, what an amazing place. A gem that nobody knows about. Great hosts.

Was a little cold but the owners did their best to rectify this situation.

Viv and Dave friendly couple, loved seeing the rescue dogs their that Viv and dave look after. Very quite peaceful brilliant parking and convenient to get around beaches not far away.Would stay again.Sue.

Everything! The accommodation is amazing with very welcoming and friendly hosts. I would definitely go back 😍 And the food, wow. I tried their dinner and it was sooo good!

The shower is a little bit small, but that wouldn't stop me to book here again.

Lots of additional sockets in the bedroom. The shared kitchen was good, with kettle etc, but bring your own water because the local water tastes terrible.

The published location co-ordinates are wrong, it is actually at : N37.6486, W1.0775 (decimal degrees only) On arriving at the correct location, (early-evening), all doors and gates into the property were locked, and no-one answered the door-bell. I then telephoned the property, and only got an answerphone message. After ringing the bell many more times - (and from the road-side I could hear it ringing in the house), eventually after more than 15 minutes the proprietor came to open the gate and let us in. Wifi is incredibly slow to none-existent, many times a page timed-out before loading - eventually gave up with it because it was wasting too much time, found a cafe in Cartagena next day to use internet.

Super hospitable hosts. And an amazingly beautiful location! Would definitely recommend.

Very friendly and obliging staff. The room was bigger than I expected from the description although I wonder how a bit bigger dude would fit in the shower :) The terrace is really nice especially in the evening. And the swimming pool although I did not swim myself this time. Dan let me wash my moto in the yard. A huge number of movies available on TV. Fridge, micro and everything if you prefer to store/make your own food.

WiFi connection was poor in the room but ok elsewhere. Additional amenities are sold cash-only.

We really enjoyed our stay in Tara Casa. There are a lot of nice and not very crowded beaches a short drive away. The hosts were very friendly, we even did a course on how to make mosaics on our last day!

A fantastically relaxing stay in this beautiful, peaceful property. Viv and Dan were very welcoming and friendly. The pool and gardens are stunning and well maintained. The breakfast and dinners were delicious and great value. The overall bohemian vibe made it very easy to unwind at this place. Its also only a short driving distance from some nice beaches and towns.

English breakfast with toast and eggs and one time even beans. There are many birds to watch. A wonderful place to chill out. What a luxury to have a swimming-pool in this heat. And a lot of beautiful art to discover in the house and outside. I really recommend this lovely place with these friendly hosts Viv & Dan
