The room was very clean and the stuff really helped us a lot. Thank you for all your help and support in our journey to Petra. The hotel is 5 min walk to Petra main entrance. The bed was very comfortable. We had an amazing breakfast served by the kind stuff of the hotel.

Great location and facilities. Super friendly and helpful staff went out of their way to arrange our visit to Petra. I'll definitely stay here again if I ever come back.

The delightful welcome! It was a pleasure to stay here; the conversation at reception, the room spotless, the twin beds really comfortable and the breakfast delicious. And it was great, as we had a hire car, that there’s free private parking in the forecourt of the hotel. It’s also around 5 minutes walk to the entrance to Petra. We were really happy staying here and highly recommend it.

The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from Petra. We stayed 3 nights there and everything was perfect. The staff is amazing, they helped us in everything. Breakfast is delicious and rich selection. The best hotel to stay in Petra. Thank you so much for everything

Good location, welcoming staff, comfortable and clean rooms. We felt like home, staff was really friendly and profesional especially Mohamed, they gave us a few recomendations (what to see in Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba) We also had a lovely diner at the hotel.

Where can we start? This amazing hotel offers a huge amount to its guests including friendly hospitality, a wonderful breakfast, complementary lunch pack up, water, and extremely comfy rooms. We had a good sized bedroom with a decent bathroom (the water was always hot), fridge, hairdryer and blackout blinds for the windows. For a two star hotel it exceeded expectations. We arrived on our first night and decided to eat in as we were a bit fatigued and although there is no restaurant here, the staff provided us with a lovely dinner which catered for a vegetarian too. Totally impressed. If you want a great value, immaculately clean hotel to stay in while visiting Petra (5 mins walk from the visitor centre) then look no further. Thank you to all the staff for a great stay.

It was pleasure to stay in this hotel. There was a very, very friendly staff, sufficient breakfasts and near to Petra visitor center. Additionally we were surprised by extra packed breakfast for our trip to Petra :) If we again visit Petra we of course book this hotel

The brekfast was not good. However a really nice touch was the lunch box they give you for your day in Petra.

As a solo traveller feeling welcomed goes along way. Aretas were alway happy to help and made my stay very comfortable.

The staff is clearly the strength of the hotel, everyone we met were friendly and welcome us with warm words and smile. They provided us bottle of water for the day and when we return exhausted as well. The breakfast was good and plentiful (and they give you additional lunch box to cover small appetite over the day visits). We took the dinner for one night it was tasty and quantity was enormous. The room was clean and comfy to rest after a beautiful day in Petra and the hotel is within 5 minutes walk to the main entrance of Petra.

Good location just 10 min from Petra Visitors Center. Clean family room, nice and friendly people managing the hotel, comfortable beds. The owner very helpful, took us to the back gate of Petra and gave us a lot of useful information.

Location is great, next to Petra visitor centre. Small hotel where you feel welcome. Very spacious family room for 4. Bathroom is pretty small but ok. They provide you with free packet lunch on the day of your visit to Petra ancient site

Dinner could have been better but hey they are not a restaurant and when we were back from 10 hours walking in Petra we could not imagine going anywherelse out for dinner, so still a plus they serve food in request

The hotel might lack some details, but the kindness and personal touch of the staff make up for any possible flaw! They are simply amazing. The location is optimal: a short walk to Petra entrance.

Very good location, just minutes walking from the Petra visitors Center. The reception guys were super friendly, offered us welcome drink, water and even packed lunch for our day in Petra, took care of everything we needed. We also had a delicious dinner upon request, and extra bottles of water when we were leaving, we are really satisfied with the hospitality of the staff!

I think this is not a fault of the hotel, but rather the infrastructure of Wadi Musa - maybe because of the high number of tourists, there wasn't enough hot water supply in the bathroom, just a very small stream was coming out of the tap.

Mr.Rafat and Mr. Husain were very professional,friendly and helpful. There is a free car parking, I appreciated the good gesture and support from the the owner of the hotel , a very humble person indeed. The location was just perfect, only 3-5 mins walk to the Petra main entrance . I’d recommand certainly Petra Aretas Hotel.

I had the best!! time at Petra Aretas hotel. 1) The staff was so friendly and helped me organize private transfers from the Dead Sea to Petra, and Petra to Wadi Rum, AND Wadi Rum back to Amman, for very very reasonable prices. 2) The staff was incredibly helpful and asked me all the time what I needed. 3) Room was exceptionally clean. All of the hotel is very clean as well. And, you can get a homemade Jordanian dinner for a very affordable price. They also provide breakfast and a little snack bag for Petra if you are going that same day. 4) Great location. I was a 7 minute walk from the Petra entrance. There is always someone at the reception who can help you.
