The house is really pretty especially inside, but the back with the screened in porch is awesome and the dock provides a great place to see manatees and other wildlife. Very clean and comfortable. We’d definitely like to come back!

This house is on the perfect spot on the Homosassa River. We saw many manatees from the dock and enjoyed the boat traffic outside. It is close to the Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park, which is really great.
The outdoor furniture is updated from the photos with nice Adirondack chairs. The kitchen is adequate for a rental and the main living space is large and comfortable. The only negative is that the mattresses are hard and not comfortable at all. The master bedroom mattress is the worst. If the beds were comfortable, it would get 5 stars for sure!
I also wish the rental came with kayaks or included information on how to rent them for several days. Most rental agencies nearby only rent for trips.
Seeing the manatees was magical and a bucket list item for sure!

This house is perfect for stay near the springs. We enjoyed kayaking in the area and watching the manatees swim by the dock. The house is in the perfect location to watch the boats go by and not too far to kayak to the Homosassa Spring State Park. The house was very comfortable and had all the amenities needed. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch in the evening to avoid the mosquitos. We cooked breakfast in the mornings and enjoyed checking out the local restaurants for lunch or dinner. We are looking forward to another stay here next year.

We had a great time! Perfect location near the springs. Nice open floor plan. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. We saw a ton of manatees and dolphin. The kids had a blast kayaking and fishing. We would highly recommend booking and plan on returning for another visit.

Clean and beautiful
Our stay was delightful. House was spotless. Cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. We enjoyed hanging out on the dock and sitting out in the yard and watching all the boats and kayaks float by. Saw manatees and one dolphin. We will return to stay again. Very thankful for this rental home. Made many memories.

Great location near the springs with plenty of manatee sightings. The dock was great to fish from. The patio was great for morning coffee. Very nice property!

Biking/kayaking trip
Had a wonderful stay at this property. Very clean, dock was perfect.. we saw many manatees swimming by and were able to launch kayaks from property. Would definitely stay again; however, I have definitely dealt with better property managers. I asked Evolve a question and it took 2 weeks for a response. Also, we received a text for day of arrival with check in info and were told "do not arrive before 4pm check in time". A simple "check in is 4pm" would have been a nicer way to put it. But that is the manager, the house was great

Kayaking/ biking
Had a wonderful trip. Veiwed many manatees right from the dock. Kayaked right from property. Great stay. ONLY communication with property manager was a text stating checkin procedures aand basically do not show up even 1 minute early. Did not like dealing with Evolve, I asked a question and it took them 2 weeks to respond. BUT that all said, the property was perfect and would stay again.

We’ve eyeballed most houses on the river for years after our year round fifth wheel was flooded in a storm. We’ve always loved the area of the rover this house is on. It’s been updated and was clean for our arrival. Can’t get a better location and we found everything we needed. Hope to be back soon.

Everything was just perfect from check in to check out. Nancy went above and beyond to accommodate. We saw manatee and dolphin! We also caught a bunch of snapper. Loved everything about our peaceful stay on the river!

Amazing Vacation
We had the most amazing vacation!!! Nancy went above and beyond to make our stay so welcoming, memorable, and special! The property is perfect from the inside to the outside. We enjoyed fishing, watching manatees, and relaxing on the water. Also a great location convenient to food and local attractions. We are already planning our next trip back!

Wonderful House
Another wonderful stay at this property. Location is wonderful for the springs and to watch boats come by off the dock.

Great Family Weekend
We enjoyed our time on the River. We swam with manatees and just hopped on our paddle boards for a paddle whenever we wanted. The house was great for family dinners. Beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet.

Perfect location
This is a very nice property and we had a great time. I was disappointed that there was no kayak or paddle board to get on the water so we went out and bought 2 kayaks. Loved going to the springs to see the manatees! Restaurants are very close, as is the grocery store. Boat rentals and manatee swim tours are also only a couple miles away. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock. We even swam from the dock! Our family made some wonderful memories this week.

Great stay
Property is great as I grew up coming to this house as a kid and saw it on Airbnb and could not pass it up. House is redone wonderfully and is very nice and clean. Fishing from dock in the evenings was great. Black Drum, snapper were easily caught and my kids loved it!
For the price compared to others would have been nice to have kayaks or paddle board included as other rentals do in this price point.
Also, Only have YouTube tv so we could not watch the baseball playoffs or NFL games at night after coming in from fishing or boating(or did not know how to).
Overall 5 star experience and would stay again and recommend to anyone.

Well needed getaway for family of 5. We all had a great rime swimming with the manatees and getting in a little fishing (and catching). Property is in a great location for both activities. Will be coming back.

Coastal chic at its best
Truly enjoyed our stay! The property is clearly recently updated and redecorated with stylish and comfortable furniture and bedding. Plenty of room to be together as a family in the main living area or to spread out to the bedrooms or screened in porch. Was easy to sit on the porch and watch the world go by on the pontoon boats, kayaks and canoes! We saw manatees and lots of birds right from the dock - which you can swim off of - great location overall!

Awesome place to stay
This property was absolutely perfect. Location is outstanding, the house is very comfortable and clean and is located on the river close to the springs. Within 30 minutes of check-in, we had 4 large Manatees swimming around the dock. We also had a couple dolphins playing in the river one afternoon. Location is very good, only minutes from most of the things we wanted to see and do. Nancy Little Lewis was right on top of everything to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of during our stay. We will definitely rent this house again. Thanks!!

We loved our week on the river! House was fabulous—comfortable beds, well equipped, perfect location! The manatees and dolphin were so much fun to be around! I would highly recommend this rental! We did rental equipment through Gary at River Adventures! Nancy Lewis was so helpful to work with as the property manager!

this house was absolutely perfect. Right on the crystal clear water near the spring head. Plush bedding, clean updated kitchen, beautifully decorated home. We did not want for anything. This place is the best, and we hope to be back soon .

This is a great location to get out to the Gulf and scallop and come back to the Springs and celebrate the catch. Would highly recommend.

Awesome week!
This is our first trip to Homosassa. We loved the house. The location of the house on the river was perfect, very close to the springs and also short ride to the Gulf. We brought our boat down and also paddle boards and kayaks. There is so much to do in Homosassa! We had amazing manatee experiences right down from the house, paddled some beautiful springs, and had some nice relaxing boat rides. Lots of restaurants easily accessible on the water or by car and Publix is right around the corner. The house was very comfortable, loved the openness and the awesome view of the river. The owners were very helpful also. We can’t wait to come back to Homosassa and would definitely rent this house again.

We have traveled to this area every summer for the last 10 years. This is the nicest place we have stayed at yet! The home was very clean and we are planing to book again next summer.
