Locatie top, zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw.

Mogelijkheid om iets te koken/klaar te maken aangezien er geen ontbijt was. Er was wel koffie, thee en een kleine koelkast. De kamer voelt aan als een appartement waardoor deze verwachting wel werd geschept.

The location is nearby the center of Leiden in walking distance. The breakfast prepared by the host was excellent. The view from our room to the canal was very nice.

The stairs in this old house take a lot of getting used to if you have to climb the stairs with luggage. Everything else was really nice an fine.

La localisation est très bonne et la vue sur le vieux canal est exceptionnelle. Monique, la propriétaire, est très accueillante et attentionnée. La chambre est très lumineuse.

La chambre de cette maison de plus de 2 siècles pourrait être charmante, cosy. Mais la quasi absence de déco, le mobilier " basic Ikea", le seul eclairage de 3 lampes de chevet la rendent dépourvue de charme, tristounette. Pour le prix payé (125€ + taxes de séjour), on s´attendait à mieux. Donc déception.

Beautiful setup, spacious accommodation and caring and lovely host

Hart van Leiden is strategically located on the Oude Singel, close to both the city centre and Leiden Centraal Station. My room was on the top floor, big and cosy, with a comfortable bed, fridge, kettle and coffee machine. A table, armchair, sofa and a large wardrobe completed the pieces of furniture, while the room offered a nice view of the canal. Overall, the hotel is very well taken care of and squeaky clean, so it was easy to feel at home. Monique was a very friendly host, with always a kind word for guests. Hart van Leiden is strongly recommended for anyone visiting Leiden as well as Amsterdam.

it was very hot when I was there and only one window was able to be opened. also given the name of the place I thought it would be bed and breakfast, but breakfast not included however tea, coffee and a fridge was.

This property was amazing, and you could tell how much thought and care the owner puts into it. The beds were extremely comfortable, and everything was very clean.

B&B Hart Leiden was a perfect place to stay. Very central to everything and ideal for what we needed while here. Our host was very pleasant and friendly, had some cold drinks in the fridge and very easy to communicate with when needed.

Nothing that we can think of, was perfect for our needs.

The indication "luxe suite" is certainly not a misnomer. The room is all that you could expect. Comfortable beds, plenty of room, practical desk for work and another small table to lounge at. Ample of closet space for longer stays and good jacuzzi both and a shower as well. An additional small bed in there for a child. While it is rather centrally located (some 10 minutes walk to the train station or 10 minutes walk to down town), it is still located in a quiet neighbourhood while overlooking the "Oude Singel" canal. Monique was very helpful and flexible in setting up an appointment to check in, although I arrived late. She also gave very useful tips on breakfast places in the neighbourhood. Leaving me some water and drinks in the fridge was a nice touch as well. I can surely recommend a stay at B&B Hart van Leiden, but please leave some days open for when I hope to come back :)
