Really quiet, we had a Christmas tree in living room

we have had a kitchen but we didn t had oil, salt, peper etc to cook Nothing really interesting to do in that area

The location was fabulous, we saw so much wildlife. The river froze and we saw a fox walking on it, and also a mink. As the park facilities were closed it was so quiet and peaceful bliss! The home was so warm and cosy, and was immaculate inside. The owner had put up a Christmas tree and other decorations which was a lovely surprise and had also left some apple juice and cookies! We really didn't want to leave!

it was nice and cozy.

the lock was very hard to get into, including the key safe, and we had to wiggle the key for 20/30 seconds to get it into the door. the dishwasher also stopped working.

The lodge was lovely, great lounge space and lovely open view across fields and a small river with birds. Nice touch to leave apple juice and biscuits for our arrival. Good info booklet in caravan. Quiet location. Would stay again.

The caravan was so clean and cosy. Lovely homely feel and so well looked after. Everything we could ask for for a comfortable stay, plus beautiful views.

The view & location

Nicely positioned caravan with a good view, but quite a distance to get in and out of the park. Nicely kept accommodation

Lots of the facilities were closed or restricted. Not much to do locally . The price doesnt include guest passes, once you factor in buying these separately the price of the accommodation isn't worth it compared to the price of other caravans provided by the site which include passes. I guess you're paying for the view but in my opinion its not really justified

The massive sofa was perfect to enjoy the beautiful view, a great place to relax after a busy day on the beach

Quite a long walk to the beach with small children but only a short drive to Camber Sands central

Pretty dark not much lighting onsite in places, chippy shut permanently,onsite shop obviously expensive and didn't even sell bread,atm charges £1.85 or so to withdraw money which is disgusting in a remote location but that's typical of all park dean resorts I've been to,sometimes it didn't even work.main restaurant always ran out of food and in places the site is VERY dark,but the caravan was comfy and a nice location overlooking the river

Lovely van, in great location and I can imagine on a summers day the decking would be lovely. Welcome pack of local biscuits & bottle of juice. Also a kitchen cleaning pack was handy to get us going Dishwasher wash a bonus as well Having tv in each room, WiFi & Netflix's was amazing. Even with the negative below I would definitely visit again

The plates, cups, glasses and cutlery in the cupboard were filthy, covered in grease & food stuff (possibly from previous guest). First thing we did was buy dishwasher tablets and clean everything so we could use. Perhaps spare dishwasher tablets on arrival would be beneficial. The price for the club house was steep, especially for a short stay out of session.

We booked this lodge for a mini getaway as I have stage four cancer. Obviously cleanliness was more of an issue to avoid contracting any infections whilst going through chemotherapy etc. We couldn’t have been more pleased. The place was spotless! The sofa was very comfortable, as indeed was the bed. We felt like we had gone home from home. Very cosy, very nice, and would recommend to friends who were looking to go away down that way.

The wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

It was a lovely lodge great views out the back my boy loved seeing the sheep everyday it was great we had Internet access also in the lodge for the TV and it is in great walking distance to the beach so perfect location we had a great family break away and looking forward to going back 😀

Only thing that bothered me was being woke up during the night by a fox trying its hardest to get in to the big rubbish bins outside the property( not the owners fault of course) also I wouldn't waste my money on the chippery thats on location didn't have really anything and wasn't very nice what they did have !
